COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The history of the bible and religion is indeed the struggle of good vs. evil. Our Serpent’s Stout recognizes the evil of the dark side that we all struggle with. This is a massively thick and opaque beer that begs the saints to join the sinners in their path to a black existence.

Pours a dark coffee color with a small tan head. Smells boozy and chocolatey with notes of licorice and hops. Very aggressively attacks your tastebuds with hops, booze, and dark-bitter malts. Very intense sipper. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Svart med lavt brunt skum. Svart kaffe, salt lakris og mørke frukter. Smaker salt lakris, noe bitterhet og rusinsmak. Rund. Salt avslutning, lite kullsyre.

750 ml bottle. Bottle date of 12/24/ 2013. Pitch black color with almost no head. Aroma is roasted malt, licorice, dark fruit and ash.

Flavor is pretty much the same. Low roasted malt notes. Full body and what I look for in an imperial stout. Rich, creamy texture over the tongue. Flavor is very licorice dominate with hints of dark fruit ash and plums. Alcohol is only lightly notable at this juncture. No hop element at this point, soft Carbonation. You better like licorice flavor in your stout because it is here in abundance.

10/16/204. On tap at the brewery. Awesomeness in a bottle. Black with a tan head. Spicy chocolate, Belgian yeast, roasted malt, all in perfect harmony.

Aroma: toasted malts, coffee. Appearance: black, beige, small head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: vanilla, getting very dry, light sours coming to, coffee, toasted flavours. Overall: very nice Imperial Stout, excellent palate. Pint at Lost Abbey/Port Brewing, San Marcos.

Flaska från Craftbeer/Galatea. Tjock, maffig och fullmatad IS. Mer massor av mörk torkad frukt med viss syrlighet än choklad/kaffe. Söt och inte särskilt besk, istället torv, sötlakrits och fruktig espresso. Riktigt riktigt gott.

Excellent beer. Wonderful balance. Chocolate and some mocha. Creamy thick texture. Black pour with mocha head and lacing. Bittersweet finish. Big roast aroma. Tap at Khyber.

Pours dark with brown head. Strong coffee and mild bitterness. Not for the faint of heart, but delicious for the Imperial Stout lover.

Bottle at Moeder Lambic. Almost pitch black with brown head. Aromas of Chocolate, vanila, cheese snack, toffi and much more. Very smooth and thick mouthfeel. Wonderfully balanced taste. Mostly sweet with moderate bitterness. Wow.

Sweet aroma. Flavors of chocolate and the bitterness of roasted coffee. I like it, but if I’m feeling ghoulish, I would go with Stone’s gargoyle.
