Much thanks to Dmac for sharing this one. Pours out an ugly, flat cola color with no head. Aroma is of sour, tart funkiness, light sour cherries, oak and some light sweetness. Taste is sour funk, tart cherries, musty basement, oak, sweet almost caramel like notes in there with some raisin maybe. Interesting sour.

Bottle from Rick. Pours an average cheddar with a nose of cherry leather hairspray. Flavor is molasses-infused cherry and leather. Lingers on the tongue. Good stuff.

375 ml cork and caged bottle via trade with boamr, thanks Ryan. Poured a super ugly bud brown swamp water body with no head what-so-ever. Aroma was nice and sour with notes of cherry, lemons, balsamic vinegar, some caramel sweetness. Slick medium body mouthfeel, some detectable carbonation despite the fact none is seen, lingering sourness. Flavor of lemons, cherry, sour, funky, vinegar, sour berries, earthy aftertaste. Good stuff despite the ugly appearance.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 Reynolds314 (1480) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 10, 2012
On tap at Armsby Abbey. Very intersting and unique. Any flavor you have ever heard to describe yeast or malts you can get in this beer. The most previlent being chocolate, earthy, leather, tart cherries. Interesting but the flavors fight a bit.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 6, 2012
Bottle. Pours basically flat, with zero head or lacing. The body is a dark and murky looking brownish-raisin color. Instantly, notes of balsamic vinegar leap from the glass, sharp and exceedingly acetic. Buggy, dusty brettanomyces falls in line, seeping out from the vinous, wet oak. General dark, caramelized fruit lingers in the background, along with some cocoa-like tendencies. The flavor is just as the nose suggests, biting with intense acetic acid and tannic vinousness. Fruits are dark, tart, and larger indiscernible. There is a hint of cocoa-caramel roundness buried deep within, but it is largely bowled over by the acetic avalanche. Intense beer. The palate is predictably void of life, lacking considerably in carbonation. Sharp, tooth-tingling acidity bridges the gap towards a sugar-laden finish. Eh....not very good, overall. Way too intense and unbalanced. Sloppy effort. Nowhere near what Lost Abbey is capable of.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pushkinwow (1336) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 5, 2012
On tap at the Armsby Abbey. Hazy brick brown with a tan head. Vanilla, oak, bourbon, buttery, brandy, cherry, sour with slight vinegar. Carbonation is present but low, full body, very sweet and hot, some prunes and raisins on the finish, some bourbon and a nice sour tang.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 tkrjukoff (3360) - SWEDEN - NOV 25, 2011
Bottle 37,5 cl, trade. pours murky red brown with a minimal beige head. Aroma is - OMG it fills the room - vinous, oaky, vanilla, raisins, toasted, malty, acidy. Flavor is sooo goood. Acidy, sour, fruity, malty, has a really good balance, phenolic in a nice way. This stuff makes the salive to run out of cheeks like nothing else. Finishes sour fruity and with a tingling pungent touch on my tounge.
