Thanks to Marc for bringing this to the pre-DLD hotel tasting! Poured deep garnety brown with a creamy cap of tan head.. some rising carbonation.. beautiful! The aroma had a whole lot going on with dark fruits, honey, airy, dried spicy yeast, and cherries on the first impression.. more cherry with warmth.. I picked up a lot of the CdT influence. The flavor had deep, sour fruits with cherries at the core.. dry, funky sourness surrounded.. peppery spices and more funk toward the back. Well-carbonated, sour, and bone dry on the palate.. alcohol warmed up the long, memorable finish. This was excellent!

Bottle thanks to WeeHeavySD, thanks Jon. Color is that of a tobacco sunburst Gibson Les Paul. Smells spicy and oaky, maybe some over-ripe fruit. Tastes very complex, not very sour, I would say there is more Brett than lactic or acetic character. Vanilla and cherry come through. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated, tight bubbles. Drinkability is outstanding.

750 ml bottle shared by Odeed; nose of horse blanket, caramel, dark fruitiness, and tartness; cloudy brown with a big, glass-lacing beige head; flavor of tratness, molasses, sour cherries, and caramelized brown sugar!

Hazy brown with a thin white head. Aroma is cherries, funk, yeast, light caramel. Taste is lightly funky, cherries, faint hops, and yeast. Awesome brew.

(big thanks to hophead 84 for this rare brew.)nice murky red/brown body with a small light brown head.the aroma is a perfect balance of funk, oak, brown sugar, spices, and fruits.flavor is much of the same.now to me this is the perfect balance of funk and other flavors.instead of the brett just overpowering everything.nice job lost abbey!

From bottle, thanks Chris! Looks lovely, deep reddish-brown with thick white head. Very astringent, winey, oakey. Sour but not tart. Spot-on there. Had a few days after having 002. To compare: this one is much fizzier. Also slightly fecal. Generally not as mellow or as complex as 002 while still being as exceptional and memorable.
