A damn fine beer, I would drink it until my liver gave way. Nothing offensive at all, just beer bliss. Would get again fo sho.
pretty damn astringent, fruity, sour and tart, i think there is a hint of vinegar and astringency i would rather leave out, but tasty nonetheless.

Bottle shared by MrPickles...thanks Andy! - Pours rosy amber with a ring of off-white head. Nose is faded overripe raspberry, lemon, vinegar, white grape, and nice tartness. Taste is huge tartness, with vinegar sour, muted raspberries, cherries, and citrus rind. Dry and puckering. Medium-bodied, slick with minimal carbonation. There’s a lot going on here, and it’s freaking tart. If that’s your thing--and on this night it was mine--it’s quite the experience. Really glad I got to try this.

Bottle split with my bro before Fightin Phils. Ruby pour with thick white head and lacing, Aroma of this veritas took me back. Initial scents of raspberry jelly, balsamic, orange peel, really tart notes of different fruits, sandalwood. Mouthfeel was sour pucker candy, especially on the sides of tongue. Notes of peach, framboise, brett, vanilla cream, and green apple. This one was more carbonated then other versions. Cheech Ahh.

750 ml bottle; thanks Brandon; pours super muddy dark pink with an eggy head in the bottle but fairly thin in the glass; aromas of fizzy raspberries, lemon juice, white sugar and dry orange peel in the finish; some acidity character, but comes off more like fresh fruit juice; ok, but mouthfeel is a little sharp; really nice raspberry flavor though

Thanks bvc! White peaches and apricot, clean tart nose. Dark tarnished grapefruit in the glass. Big tart grapefruit bite, some granny smith. Sustained like Buddy Guy’s feedback. Little rainier cherry. Hoo boy.

750ml bottle gushed on opening. Pours a hazy, light copper amber with a thin ring of white head. Nose is really juicy and jammy, raspberry, strawberry, some sweetness. Flavor is super acidic, like a raspberry viniagrette, cherry, strawberry, light lurking sweetness. Really hot, acidic finish. Not my favorite.

Thanks GT2! Muddy orange pour with pink hints and a white head sitting atop it all. Massive raspberry seed in the aroma with a pretty huge acetic acid character which likens it to raspberry vinaigrette. Acetic palate with the overall feel trending to the acetic side. Raspberry flesh and enamel peeling acetic acid in the finish. Despite all the vinegar notes, not all that bad.

Thanks to GT2! Orange amber pour. Juicy tart grapefruit, raspberry jam, strawberry, plum, apricot, candied apple, and a touch of interesting fennel and anise notes. The flavor brings a ton more acetic acid, more sweet raspberry seed, and some vinegar, mixing with the tart grapefruit. Really quite nice.

Bottle. Pours cloudy ruby with particles, a huge white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is lactic and acetic, strawberry and raspberry with skin and seed notes, light straw and meal malt. Flavor is tart, acetic/vinegar, raspberry and strawberry, light malt and hops with a dry finish. Medium body, low warmth, high carbonation.

hazy tan-pink pour, thin white ring. nose is lightly acetic, draws more raspberry seeds through, light arsenic. Flavor burns, moderate raspberry, light egg, light seed, vinegar too strong. Thin, sticky, lightly drying seedy body, acid burning with paper in finish. The acetic brightness really helps the nose, takes it above d’amarosa’s occasionally messy, aggressive dark malt, but the flavor shows lost abbey for acetic tragedy they are.

Hazy red brown pour with a thin white head. Very fruity raspberry aroma. Flavor is sour, a bit ascetic, with tannic buitter notes. Some spice, almost a touch of curry. Acid is a bit overpowering, but a decent beer.
