4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 DaSilky1 (2576) - San Diego, USA - JAN 29, 2011
Bottle. The consensus was that the beer smelled like "taint" and a bit of some salty teabag and poo. To me, I don’t know what the hell that smell is, other than funky, in a sweaty body part way. To be honest, it doesn’t bother me too much, I kinda a like it in a "don’t tell anyone" type way. Pours light hazed yellow. Solid head. Yeasties in a mid bottle pour. Spritzy...nice effervescence...somewhat funky combo with the wild yeasties and the tea but its actually quite enjoyable, as weird as it may be. As andrew exclaimed first, I feel as though this might make me sick later...but whatever, its an enjoyable weirdness for the time being.

Unclear matt medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, tart, peach, cheese, funky, wood. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, peach, tart, sour. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120510]
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ephemeral8 (62) - denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Bottle at Sour and Bitter.
Nose: Cinnamon candles and crystalline sugar, gum, glog, mulled wine, gardenias, Shea butter, suntan lotion, buttery crumble crust topping.
Mouth: baked cinnamony peaches, mild fish scales, cocoa butter lotion, finish is candied orange rind dipped in caramel and sugary coconut flakes. Weird texture/flavor mesh--flavor crystals in gum, tartaric acid crystals flavor? Not my style, but not bad.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 jackl (764) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2012
Bottle @ S&B. Hazy eggshell yellow color with a tiny head. The nose is woody, some lemon rind and dried cork. Acidic dank cheese and green grass. The taste is lightly cheesy orange, some floral notes. This beer has a very dry woody tart edge to it. Funky and quite tannic. The body’s light and nimble, active. Overall, a pretty nice, aggressive beer.

Bottle sample @ Sour & Bitter Dinner, Copenhagen. Hazy orange body, huge white head. Aroma is intense coriander-like herbal tones, bitter orange marmelade, yeasty tones and pale malts. Original, and quite nice. Taste is sour lemony acidic notes, yeast, oranges, peaches and hints of barnyard funk and lime. Smooth, low-carbed palate. This is very nice indeed!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 CaraCurtis (84) - USA - MAY 18, 2012
Fruity and full of sweet flavors upfront. This seems to take an immediate turn to a dry, leathery and more barnyard aroma. This beer is opaque and to me impressive. Orange, white head, lasting frothy head. It is bubbly upfront, minimal lingering with some aspects, while longer lingerings of a few of other characteristics. As it warms, the bite/sourness comes present.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scopey (1681) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2012
From Bottle at Sour & Bitter 2012. It pours cloudy light orange, with a thick white head. The nose is farmyard, sulphur, blue cheese, funk, tart lemon, lime, grapefruit and cabbage. The taste is red apple, pear, vinous notes, white grape, grape skin, lemon, grapefruit and a bit of alcohol warmth, with a smooth, tart finish. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Decent.

S&B 2012. Pours hazy pale golden with no head. Aroma is wet cellar, sour, lemon juice, dry. Flavor is sweet sour tart in front, a bit fruity too. Turns to more dry sour and bitter towards the end with some pungent tones. Finishes bitter sour with fruity touch.
