Pours a golden orange with no head. Aroma of oak, citrus, peaches and funk. Taste is sour, oak, peaches, citrus, funk. Very sour yet complex. This beer is pretty amazing!

Moving over an old review.
Thanks to whoever brought this one to the Hill Farmstead CW pre share.

A - Pours a hazy golden peach color with a nice one finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving small trails of lace on the glass.

S - Smells of fresh peaches, mild funk, woody oak, lactic sourness, some basement must and a bit of sweet pale malt. Lots of funky peaches, love it.

T - Starts off with fresh picked ripe peaches slowly giving way to oak tannins, basement must, light funk, greek yogurt, white wine and a bit of sweetness from the malt. Finish is quite dry, lingering long after the finish. Lots of flavor, just with the peaches came through a bit more.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, tart feel with a nice dry ending. Quite easy drinking all things considered.

O - This was an awesome peach sour. It was going up against a bunch of other Peach and Stone Fruit sours and really held its own, it was in my top three. I would love to have this again in the future.

Bottle, 08/08/2013, thanks to blatantdream. Pours a hazy cream orange, frothy white head fades to hazy splotches on the surface, thin ring of lacing. Aroma is juicy, fleshy peach, soft lactic sourness, vanilla, cheesey funk and wood. Taste is peach sweet tarts, sugary bright citrus essence and sharp sour funk. Light, refreshing body. Tasty.

Golden pour, elegant white head & lace. Fresh peaches, soured yeast, oak barrels; dregs impart more pucker and intensity. Quite delicate and refined. An impeccably crafted sour, worthy of praise.

Bottle shared on 4/20/2013, thanks dan! The problem with doing the veritas vertical is by thr time we got to this one i was half in the bag and probably couldnt pick up certain delicious aspects. Pale yellow with a thin white head. Smell of peaches, apricot, brett Taste was under ripe peach, citrus, brett, tart but not sour. We had a yellow bus after this and unfortunately v010 became forgetable which is truly ashame. Will be iso another soon

Consumed with all ten Veritas beers on April 14, 2012. Shared by craytonic. Thanks Matt. The beer is yellow and fairly hazy with a thin white head that fades within a few minutes. The aroma brings peaches, oak, wild yeast, funk. Nice flavor, with peaches leading the way. It’s really not fair to this beer that we shared a Yellow Bus earlier in the evening, which was sublime. Light in body, but not watery. Easy to drink and very enjoyable. I would certainly have this again. I’m glad to see the Veritas series back on track, as 008 and 009 were not up to the usually high standard. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-22-2012

On tap at the Night of the Funk 2012. Classic Lost Abbey sourness in this one. Very tart and lactic right off the bat with acetic hints and complex stone fruit character. Fluffy carbonation with a dry finish.

Easily the best beer of Night of the Funk 2012. Hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma of dirty peaches, dust clouds, attic corners, lemons. Taste is softly sour summer fruit. Great character and complexity. Love it.
