FOBAB ’11. Hazed yellow orange with a white head. Acidic lactic nose herbal and a kinda milky sour. Tart lemon flavors bright nice. If this didn’t run out too fast I’d drink a lot more of it. 8/4/8/4/16

750ml courtesy of Shane’s crazy generosity. A: Golden sour with a thin lacing. Good carbonation. N: oak, peach, cheesy funk. Light lemon. Barnyard. Easy to el this is going to punch you with sourness. T: Wow, beautifully tart. Oak, plenty of peach. Nice lactic quality. Lemon, green apple. M: Dancing and effervescent O: Moving into new territory of sourness. This is better than a number of Belgian sours.

Bottle at Wood Shop 7. Pink-red color, very pretty and interesting. Huge raspberry and cherry nose, lovely with a touch of lactic. Great tart fruity flavor, strawberry, raspberry, and little yogurt. A wonderful beer.

750mL at RBSG. Pours murky peach. No head. Fully opaque. Nose is sweet white peach, muted. Gummy bears and pineapple. Taste is pineapple gummy bears, spicy acetic, white peach. Palate is hot and spicy. Relatively muddled and sweet. Not very peach forward or peach skin heavy like yellow bus. Not as clean. Hot and spicy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Well, after drinking the Veritas 004, it was time to try this particular one at the sour tasting. Poured an opaque, vibrant yellow-orange color with a nice wispy white head. When compared to the Veritas 004, this was pretty good - with more forward peach notes - something that was a bit more mellow in the 004. This one was pretty good- with plenty of peach notes - sweetness was nice - peach notes were good. A bit more like a nice fresh peach rather than the "bruised" peach that was more apparent in Yellow Bus and 004.

Murky golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of peaches, wood, wild yeast, white wine, bacteria, and light vanilla. Taste of much of the same, the fruit is taking a backseat to the intense sourness.
