Woodshed 3.0 via Sparky. Thanks man! Pours a pinkish color with a mostly white head. Like others have said, this is not in the same solar system as CCK. But its good. Nice and tart, cherries, berries, plain yogurt. But its worlds from the CCK.

Bottle shared @ Woodshed 3.0 via Sparky! This one, unfortunately, wasn’t even close to Cable Car Kriek. Not on the same playing field. One is pro, the other little league. Tart cherry skin, dark fruit, caramel, graham cracker, and vanilla. Absolutely a good beer but nothing memorable.

Pours a hazy, murky pinkish golden color with a small white head. The nose is big on barnyard at first. Wild strawberries, unripe apples and brett. The nose suggests a tart tasting experience. The mouthfeel is light but oily. The taste is very sour with a vague hint of the sour cherries. Very complex and with only a hint of the barrel its been in. Some clear yoghurt / dairy thing going on. Totally mouthwatering sourness that leads to a tart, lingering, sour cherry aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2014 Pours a hazy honey color with a light tan head. The smell is funky, sour, lactic, cherry though subdued. The taste is very acidic, some mild cherry, very sour, vinegar ending sour and tart. Light body with active carbonation. I heard that they charged $50 for this bottle!?? Nuts...

Saurer, wenig kirschartiger Antrunk. Sauer bleibend, rund, speziell. Essignoten, später intensiver fruchtig. Nur für Geuze Liebhaber. 11/11/8/11/8/12

Bottle acquired via trade from jefeld. Shared with the Destihl Crew. Pours a nicely hazed deep amber orange hue, darker with reddish cherry rusty glow. Some frothy whitish head, stays as a fimly layer, laces ok. Aromas are a bit cereal and bready, firm lactic presence is sour, lemony and yogurt elements meet oak, a bit of wine, tannic elements with cherryskin, gentle red fruit. Rich sourness, grapefruit juice, lemon and cherries, orange and lactic acidity. White wine, cherryskin is a bit tannic. Very lovely. Initial is firmly tart, light bodied with some fuzzy carbonation, decent brett. Nice potent sourness is cherry, big lemon and some grapefruit. Gentle oak, white wine, and tannic cherryskin. Middle is tart, sour and lactic with nice lemony and big yogurty feel. Nice cherryskin, oak and touches of bready malts, straw. Backend is dry, bretty and funky. Some tangerine, white grape and yogurt on the backend. Dry, touches of melon and white grape, fuzzy peach with a bit more dryness as we start to finish. Some cobwebs, yogurt and oak as we move on. Finish is dry, bretty, and lactic. Really flows well, the cherryskin and sourness really integrate well. Really nice stuff. Well done, great sour with complexity and great flow. The flavors don’t necessarily pop with the intensity of other Veritas offerings, but the blend and more mellow, complex nature, easy drinkability make this one pretty special.

Pours a cloudy blood orange color. Gushed like no tomorrow (insert Lost Abbey carb joke). Beady white head adorns the sides of my glass. Smells acetic with souring yeast and grain, but no specific fruits to identify. Begins with puckering tartness, cherry-infused souring bacteria, finishes dry and clean in a surprisingly Russian River style. Carb is on point, despite the gushing. Damn tasty. So drinkable, so delicious, should age like a champ. Need MOAR.

Bottle, thanks to Dave, tasted 01/31/2014. Pours hazy dark orange, slight pinkish tint, white hazy head floating on the surface, thin ring of lacing around the glass. Aroma is heavy barnyard and funk, cherry pie, slight vanilla, earthy barrel. Tart character grows as the beer warms. Taste is tart, juicy cherry, bright lemon highlights, oak. Light, spritzy body. Tasty.
