This poured a hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of.lemon, wine, and light stone fruit. Flavor was very tart, light vinegar and mild fruit. A bit disappointing.

Sample pour at FOBAB. Pour is golden-yellow in color. Minimal eggshell head. Aromas of oak, peaches, hay, light breads and barnyard funk...some lingering acidity. Taste is phenomenal. Lots of tart fruit esters. Peaches, tangerines, honey and a bit of lemon. Nice medium body to this gives balance to the tartness. Finishes semi-dry with wet oak, brett-funk and a subtle sweetness that ties it all together. Very nice American Sour Ale.

On tap at fobab. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a white head. Aromas of peaches and oranges and Brett. Slight vinegar. Taste is not overly sour. Really delicious stuff. Medium might body and medium carb.

Fruity aroma. Not peach or nectarine, fruity like from the Brett and lactic acid. There is also a fruity flavor that I find to be in most brett beers either toasted malt. Not a ton of apricot nectarine peach which I was assuming would be there. Very dry oaky flavor. Good sour.

On tap: The aroma consists of huge sour peaches, lemon, citrus, oak, and a very faint touch of vanilla. It’s a cloudy brownish-orange with a two finger off-white head. The flavor starts with a moderate tart peach and lighter citrus. The finish has moderate-heavy sour lemon, funk, and light oak. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.

Bottle at Good, Bad, Ugly tasting 2014. Aroma and flavor are pure sweet tarts. Not complex in the least, just liquefied sweet tarts. No peaches or nectarines here. Really disappointing.

Pour from bottle. Cloudy orange pour, with an off white head. Peaches, quite sour and acidic, funk, leather, grass, sweet bread, oak, and plenty of fruit. Nice sour.

From bottle at What the Funk?!? - GABF 2014. Pour is hazy/murky orange with a small cream-colored head and good lacing. Funky, peachy, lactic, apricot skin, heavy oak, and white pepper in the aroma. Taste is juicy peaches, somewhat salty, lacto, a touch of urine, oak, pepper, grass, and fruit peels with a medium sour finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Tasty stuff!

[ Bottle ][ ˝ of 75cl ][ Tasting ][ Trade ][ Tulip ][ 9.27.14 ]
Murky amber-gold, thin white head lasts, puffy. Acetic berry, light wheat nose, heavy acid and fruit flesh, tons of dry wood. Strawberry-acetic front palate, berries with light arsenic, mid is juicy, peppery, the acid singular and hot, jowls tingling through the finish, bright, light peach flesh but very poorly rounded, doesn’t capture the fruit, instead way too slick and hot.
