bottle shared by hoppypocket, many thanks bro! pours almost cloudy dark golden, red tint - darker than its cherry sibling, which seemed odd a bit - with a ncie off-white head, some retention, shy lacing. some funky wood - soft leathery bretts, rum and peaches, tender peaches and other small yellow fruits, hint of brown sugar, grass, pepper and bitter herbs. lively carbonation, light body, firmly tart if not sour, lightly astringent grassy-spicy-herbal finish. digging it a lot more than 012.

Bottle (750 ml). # 1068. Shared by David, thanks! Amber with a small hazy white head and little lacing. Aroma is of brettanomyces, peaches, oak, hints of vanilla and lactic notes. Taste is also of peaches with oak, moderate acidic notes, brettanomyces, brown sugar hints of vanilla and lactic notes. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Good fruited sour. Tasty. Way better and fruitier and the Veritas 012 we had side-by-side, but still far from a world-class beer.

Bottle. Pours a brownish with decent head. Very aromatic, peaches are bright and there is lots of yogurt notes. Some white wine also. Taste is dominated by white fruits, some lactic sourness and white wine. Moderate carbonation and rather dry. A very good american sour but it doesn’t come close to the best lambics.

The beer is murky orange with white, foamy head. The aroma offers peach, nectarine, stone fruit, classic Lost Abbey funk. The flavor follows suit, finishing with an aggressive puckering sensation in the jaws and cheeks. Moderate acetic character with lots of fruity notes throughout. Delicious.

Bottle thanks to Nick. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong nectarine skin, apricot, and light funk. Medium mouthfeel with nice light oak, nectarines, peaches, funk, and tart finish, really enjoyed this one.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2014 This beer here, this beer I had @ the Grand Tasting... Compliments of brokensail of course. Brother even let me pour it so that I could come as close as I possibly can to pouring bus. xochitl
Pours a hazy gold with a decent sized head.

The aroma is like a multi layered funk thing happening... cheese rind, barnyard, overripe fruit, all that stuff,,, All that stuff and a nice bright lemony character to balance it out.

The flavor is really nicely tart with some under-ripe strawberry, sour citrus, some stone fruit, and a touch of liquor. The beer is dry & earthy with some light brininess.

Really dig it!
