COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not for the faint hearted! Our stout rewards the palate with robust flavor of roasted malts (malts are roasted like coffee beans) and heavy hops. A creamy smooth surprise.

Pours an opaque black with a thin brown head. Nose is molasses and malt. Fairly thick viscosity, nice and creamy on the palate. Taste is of dark roasted malt with a hint of slightly burnt coffee and a lightly hopped finish. A good workingman’s stout that pairs well with Navy bean soup and crackers.

Pours black with a moderate tan head that fades slowly to a thin remnant and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has loads of roasted malts, along with coffee, tobacco, subtle smoke and big earthy, herbal hops. The flavour is modestly sweet throughout, with big roasted malt notes, coffee, caramel and balancing hops that pick up towards the end and culminate in a long hoppy finish with big roasted malts. On the palate it is medium in body with a dry texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a good stout

Roasty, chocolate and licorice aroma. Black color and thin head but this may be because the beer was served to me cold. Delicious smooth palate with hints of chocolate and licorice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Boutip (4494) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 19, 2014
Bottle: Poured a dark color stout with a medium light brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma consists of light dry roasted malt with light bitter notes. Taste is a mix of roasted malt with light dry bitter notes and some residual sugar notes are also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable and easily drinkable but a bit short on the complexity level.

Dark brown/black pour with a quickly receding head. The smell is pleasant, dark bread, dark fruits, and cocoa. Flavor is roasty with cocoa notes and a decent hop presence. Very nice.

Pours a opaque colour, massive creamy head, and a shit ton of lace. Smells rather fruity, with roasted malt. Tastes quite sweet, a little of roast, a touch bitter, tropical fruit, maybe some berries.

Definitely some roasted stuff going on and very hoppy as stated but it’s missing something, not thick at all like a good stout,,, needs to be thicker.

Delicious sweet chocolaty aroma. Pours thick brown with a thin tan head. Love the flavor, sweet and chocolate with a long cocoa finish. Wonderful stuff.
