4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had a couple this new years day. Pours dark and frothy with a tan head that dissipates quickly. Aromatics of the usual coffee, chocolate and roasted barley with a hint of vanilla. Mothfeel is full with a very mild silkiness. Defin itely one of the better stouts out there IMO. Lost Coast did well on this one.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Rich taste of caramel, chocolate, coffee and nuts. The kind of taste that one would associate w/a bitter finish. However, to my surprise and delight it has a smooth malty finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours near black with medium slight tan head. Coffee notes apparent on the nose. Dry cocoa more noticeable as it warms. Cream body, but not particularly heavy. Taste is nicely sweet with a mild toasty bitterness. Finish cleaner than most stouts, as just a touch of roasty flavour lingers.
