COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not for the faint hearted! Our stout rewards the palate with robust flavor of roasted malts (malts are roasted like coffee beans) and heavy hops. A creamy smooth surprise.

A great stout. I really really enjoyed this one. Nice dark appearance with a chocolate aroma. Has almost the same qualities as Guinness.

Loved this one. Drank it while I hosed off my couch after the dog shat all over it. Any beer would been good for that, but this one actually made it an enjoyable experience. Great smell - bready, toasted chocolate, slight metallic. Taste was just as good...hints of caramel, iron, coffee, and straw. A little chocolate in the aftertaste. Reminds me of guiness, but a bit more complex. Only $2-3 a bottle, its hard to beat.

Pours a slightly viscous dark dark brown with ample tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Explosive flavour for something only 5.8%. Big malts from start to finish, but with bittering balance. Drinkable yet fascinating. Yum

Pours black with mocha head. All kinds of chocolate aromas and flavours. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, roasted malts, some anise. Very creamy and smooth. Very palatable. Nice.

Pours a dark brown with thinner beige head. Smell is milk chocolate, lactose, dark malts and some coffee. Taste is mostly dark but sweet chocolate and coffee, roasted malts. Palate is a bit thinner that I would like. Still a solid brew.

June 2010: Obtained from a Lee’s Discount in Las Vegas and consummed in a motel room outside Bryce Canyon, Utah. The large brown bottle was poured (a few times) into our plastic toothbrush cups, sorry, that’s all we had. The beer was a lovely dark brown/black colour and on each pour a bubbly tanned crown of foam sat on top. The smell was earthy with dark chocolate and slightly burnt malted bread mixed in. The taste was bitter chocolate, not a bitter hop flavour, the hops didn’t appear at all to me. The mouth dried very quickly after each sip, again it was the bitterness of the chocolate flavours that appeared to be the over riding factor, as it took over everything else. Not unpleasant, but a bit unbalanced for my palate.

Mix a 6 at Trader Joes. Nice roasted minerally flavor from the stout. Some coffee and a little tobacco maybe. Flavors are pleasant and not over done. Nice Serving: Bottle

Pours a black with a beige head. Aroma is roasted and coffee, but not to heavy. Potent flavor of coffee and malts. Good carbonation, yet smooth to drink. Aftertaste does not linger long. Nice stout.
