COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not for the faint hearted! Our stout rewards the palate with robust flavor of roasted malts (malts are roasted like coffee beans) and heavy hops. A creamy smooth surprise.

Bottle. The pour was a thick rich black with a huge (3-4 finger) medium brown rocky head that lasted throughout and had some really sticky lacing that coated the glass. The aroma was nice and robust of a roasted dark chocolate malt, a mild resin hop and a strong leathery yeast with hints of coffee and molasses. It tasted lightly sweet and mildly bitter with a hint of molasses in the beginning then became a slight more on the bitter side with a nice smooth coffee finish. The flavor lasted an average amount of time after the swallow letting the nice bitter-coffee taste settle in nicely. Mouthfeel was just a tad beyond medium in body with the texture being rather creamy but also slightly watery and having a nice soft carbonation. Overall a nice and easy to drink Stout with a nice rich smooth coffee flavor.

Pours near black with medium slight tan head. Coffee notes apparent on the nose. Dry cocoa more noticeable as it warms. Cream body, but not particularly heavy. Taste is nicely sweet with a mild toasty bitterness. Finish cleaner than most stouts, as just a touch of roasty flavour lingers.

From 650 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown-black with just a thin mahogany highlight at the edge. Small off-white head that collapses to a ring. Aromas of black coffee, vanilla, cocoa powder and burnt caramel. Taste is toasty malt at first before a firm coffee bitterness in the mid-palate. Dark chocolate and vanilla at the back end. Higher than average carbonation for a stout leads to a pretty clean finish. Chocolatey aftertaste. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours rich black with a light tan head. Sweet chocolate, caramel and nutty aroma with a hint of bitter coffee to finish. Super creamy mouthfeel and so smooth going down. Light on the complexity, shocking largely light malt, chocolate and coffee with just a hint of hop bitterness to coincide with the coffee bitterness. I didn’t want the bottle to finish. Delicious

Bottle - 660ml. Pours an opaque black body with a thin, lasting, beige creamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with chocolate hints. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries roasty, plummy, and chocolate notes. Ends with a decent bitter/roasty finish. Good stuff.

This beer has a rich black color with creamy white head. Strong coffee and chocolate aromas come through strong. A little more mild on the flavor it is easy drinking and tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark, opaque black with a fine tan head. Nose is lots of coffee, some charcoal, plum, caramel. Flavor is coffee, caramel, some smokeyness on the back palate. Not super complex, but pretty tasty. Creamy mouthfeel (as promised) with a medium body.

From a bottle. Pours a thick black with a lasting tan head, roasted coffee aroma, well carbonated, thick and rich with roasted malt and bitter chocolate/coffee flavours. I like it a lot, a real lot.
