Dark amber pour under a nice, medium tan head. No lacing. Good amount of malt sweetness with just a tiny little hop bite. Rather pleasant.

Received a few bottles for Christmas. Thanks Gayle! This is a hazy amber beer with a great lacing. The aroma has notes of hops and some caramel. The flavor is sweet at first with lots of floral hops on a few notes of caramel in the background, leading to a bitter finish. If you like hoppiness, this beer is for you. Very drinkable. Need to save some for CMB when he comes home in a few weeks.

12/25/11. Merry Christmas! 12oz bottle courtesy Cavie! Slightly hazy burnt orange pour with a small tan head that fades fast and barely laces. Light aroma of caramel and nuttiness with touches of cream. Sweet caramel entry with a bit of nuttiness and a big presence of something that reminds me of bright, leafy greens. Hmm.

Bottle. Berry and barley malt aroma with a hint of hops. Amber color with small head. Lightly sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Light body. Okay but pretty light.

Draught at Tadg’s. Fruity, estery and citrus nose, earthy, with a bit of caramel. Nice aroma. Bright amber color with a nice, thick, low head. Decent hop flavor, very fruity, with peach, orange. Good fruit, but rather sweet, with toffee. Not very bitter or hoppy at all. Better in the beginning than the end. The nose is better than the taste, and it gets boring, but ok.

Amber color in the glass. It has a mild hop aroma with some allspice. Taste is smooth with caramel at first with a mild hop in the finish. Good beer.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Nice aroma of cookie-ish malt and citric and slightly piney hops. Flavor starts with some caramel malt sweetness and finishes with moderate bitter hops, somewhat grapefruity. Medium-bodied. Flavor could use a bit more depth, but it’s still a decent tasty Amber Ale.
