Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stovkholm. Hazy copper colour, minimal head. Perfumy pear aroma with roasty crystal malt behind. Dryish with clean, crisp mouthfeel and fairly light body. Mildly salty with fresh perfumy peschy hops, slight notes of paper. Growing pleasant late bitterness. It was real nice to re-visit this beer. If I remember correctly it was one of the first American microbrews I tasted, sometimes in the mid-90s, at which time I did not keep deScriptive reviews, just numbers.

Bottle at San Juan. Clear copper color, steady off-white head. Bready and Earthy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Bready, slightly fruity, caramelly. Finish has touch of citrus and alcohol. Probably needs to be more fresh.

Bottle. Mild, sweet dried fruit aroma. Cloudy orange colour. The flavour is malty with dried fruit notes, possibly from the hops. Good, clean bitterness. Slightly watery finish, but otherwise good.

Light caramel malt aroma. Darkish amber color with a bubbly beige head. Medium bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Starts sweetish, seeming accompanied by floral/herbal hop. It is definitely fruity. The finish is a bit harshly roasted malt, with a balancing amount of floral/veg bitter. Bitter tends to build, so it’s quite good.
