StFun (298), Indiana, USA Jul 7, 2008 Fairly good session Amber, and a good intro to the style. A little thin on the palate, but the malt, carmels, and hops come through in the flavor, with the malt taking the lead role. I liked that the label is a nod to the Garbage Pail Kids of the 80s, but that’s really my biggest compliment to this one. Tastes fine and is drinkable. Nothing wrong here.
ucusty (1062), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 26, 2008 Bland watery mouth-feel. Light hop presence here. Crisp finish. Refreshing PolakPorter (74), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2008 Meh. Decent amber, much better out there for the money. Some hops in there, strange feel going down. Overall? Lacks character, not bad, but not that good. OK. msante79 (232), Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours amber with nice white head. Aroma is hops, citurs and caramal malt. Flavor is hops and citrus with nice roasted and caramel malts. Pretty good amber. Would but again. NoiZe (904), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 12, 2008 Tasted @ the Loast Coast Brewery in Eureka.
Amber/copper colored brew. Nice session amber ale. hogan873 (191), Joliet, Illinois, USA Aug 10, 2008 Nice amber body with a beige head that leaves a decent amount of lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel, brown sugar, and malt with just a touch of hoppiness. A bit thin on the palate and slightly oily. The flavor fairly mimics the aroma. Sweet and smooth. Caramel and corn. There’s a hint of citric hops in the back that doesn’t quite make an appearance. A very drinkable beer that doesn’t have a lot of personality.
