On tap, served in an imperial pint glass at the Dilly Cafe in Cincinnati. First time trying this place out, had lunch with my grandmother (good sandwiches; will return next week to try the Laughing Dog Anubis). Hazy amber color. Nice, foamy thin white head that persists. Light, smooth carbonation, good lace. Nice bittersweet taste. Really nice piney grapefruit citrus aromas, on a maltier base. I enjoyed it.

On draft. Hard to argue with previous raters. Pours a hazy orange with a substantial yellow/white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is pine cones and citrus. Taste is smooth sweet pale malt along with the characteristic grapefruit and pine resin notes imparted by the hops. Alcohol is noticable, but not overbearing. Bitterness is medium. Very good effort!

Draft: Subdued bread crust and peanut nose. Hazy amber, no head. Nutty peanut and peanut hull flavor. Orange marmelade base. Finish is pencil shavings and cardboard. Full body. Very little hop character, but I’m intrigued by the malt profile and degree to which it has oxidized. I don’t like it so much as a DIPA, but it’s enjoyable and a nice bit of crafting. I wonder how old this is. It drinks like it might be a DIPA where the hops have fallen out of it.
