Smelled toffee, caramel, roasted nuts, hazelnut, light chocolate, espresso, vanilla, faint coffee, cocoa and chocolate milk. (Smell - 4.38)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still pretty good. Got roasted nuts, espresso, toffee, caramel, hazelnut, cocoa and chocolate milk. (Taste - 3.63)
Medium body. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. (Feel - 3.50)
A decent beer, especially the smell. Pretty average the rest of the way. (Overall - 3.63)

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2015 12 oz. bottle at BevMo. Nose of yeast and toast. Dark brown body with a pillowy head. Nutty, roasty and smooth with a creamy malt base. No bitterness. Thin body keeps it on the lighter side. Lightly carbonated. Nothing extraordinary but this is a satisfying and very drinkable brown ale.

3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle to pint. No head very little carbonation. Aroma is strange, not chocolate or nutty. Flavor is great. Very smooth chocolate flavor with light nuttiness. Perfect mouthfeel for the style.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"pretty smooth, on par with Moose drool flavor-wise, but a little lighter in body, more like a Samuel Smith’s. A solid effort, but not worth going out of your way for."

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not typically a huge fan of this type of brew, but it's one of the better nut browns I've tried.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown body and creamy head. Light nutty, cookie, moderate roast, smooth yet not very expressive. Perhaps good because the hops are mellow ad well and this way together it is really drinkable. Quite a thin body though and even a hint of acidity that’s not so nice. Luckily much better from the middle onwards. Surprise to food this here, but it’s not as good as I hoped for. Could be fuller and hoppier. (On tap at Berthom Tours, with Darren’s birthday party)

Subtle malty aroma. Very clean with slight nuttiness. Beautiful reddish brown appearance with a lasting off white head. Very smooth creamy taste with slight nutty finish. Very enjoyable beer
