3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a clear light brown with a large light tan head. The nose has a touch of nuttiness with slight vegetal notes. The flavor has a touch of light roast with a nice nuttiness and simple earthy bitterness. Light to medium body with average carbonation and a medium finish. A pretty straight forward brown ale. Itís success is in itís simplicity.

Delicious and very likable beer. Sweet and malty brown. Iíve had a lot of tinny beers lately so this one was a refreshing change.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reddish copper brown colour with foamy off white head and nice lacing. Aroma is slightly metallic, chocolate, a bit of citrus. Taste is malty and a bitter, dried fruit, dark chocolate but nothing too pronounced. Alright. Definitely better once is warms up.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
nice appearance, a big white head that is attractive, dark brown and clear. aroma is malty, toasted nuts. taste is roasty malt, toasted grain, not sweet but dark caramel, earthy hops and balanced overall. thick body, more carbonated rather than less. overall it works but smacks of effort and the "toasted grain" flavour is somehow imperfect. another midling lost coast brew for me..

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours an iced tea colour. Nutty aromas...roasty malts too. Flavours are basically nutty, roasty malts and weak coffee. Nice beer...not sure itís worthy of its high rating though.
