3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap, pretty dark pour with this head. Iím so used to nut brown ale aftertaste that this beer really surprised me. Out has a sweet caramel flavor that I think I secretly wanted in a brown ale. I wish it had a better aroma, it would have recieved a higher total score. One of the better browns Iíve had. Easy to drink.

Pours gorgeous dark, dark, dark brown. Head disappears quickly...nice toasty flavor, however an unexpected after taste. Good Brown Ale.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Pours with a small head, dissipates fairly quickly but maintains nice lacing. Smooth mouthfeel with nice level of carbonation - enough, but not too much. Lightly sweet and malty, but not overpowering. Roasty, but stops short of a porter or stout. A simple brown, but a good one.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A finger of light tan head on a fairly clear brown colored body.
The aroma is chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. It smells like a porter.
The taste is mild bitterness, roasted malt, chocolate sweetness and finishes on a bitter note. A good profile.
The texture is crisp with a little cream. The carbonation is on the higher, fizzy side.
Overall a good brown ale.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a clear light brown with a large light tan head. The nose has a touch of nuttiness with slight vegetal notes. The flavor has a touch of light roast with a nice nuttiness and simple earthy bitterness. Light to medium body with average carbonation and a medium finish. A pretty straight forward brown ale. Itís success is in itís simplicity.
