3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poors clear brown with medium dense head; typical nutty aroma of a brown similar to Newcastle but the similarity ends with the first taste where the chalky roasted aroma and palate assert themselves

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Clear mid-brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate and nuts. Getting towards watery and far too fizzy. Sweet with chocolate and caramel (where did the nuts go?) grassy bitterness at the end is a little much to allow it to be bland and soothing but not enough to be much of a feature.
