On tap. Pours with a small head, dissipates fairly quickly but maintains nice lacing. Smooth mouthfeel with nice level of carbonation - enough, but not too much. Lightly sweet and malty, but not overpowering. Roasty, but stops short of a porter or stout. A simple brown, but a good one.

Bellissima sensazione al palato. Aroma di malto crosta di pane e nocciole. Gusto bilanciato senza preponderanza i dolci. Buona

From a short stubby bottle BIG thanks to reggie! Dull malty slightly unfathomable aroma that carries over to the flavors. Yes, a dark malty thing but its not too over the top in dull browness. Not bad but not sure if its lacking in manners or personality.

We conducted a blind taste test with this beer and 5 other brown ales to objectively determine which one was best. The 5 beers were: Samuel Smith’s Nut Brown Ale, Lost Coast Downtown Brown, Big Sky Moose Drool, Newcastle Brown, and Wychwood Hobgoblin. You can view the video here:

This beer isnt amazing, but one must take into account price when reviewing beer. Ive had better browns, but the standard dark ale tastes are there even if theyre a bit weak. 13$ for a twelvepack. I wish more companies were brewing these easy drinking low bitterness darks.

Bevendola vorresti un sapore leggermente più deciso e in generale il corpo si lascia un pò portar via se avete bevuto qualcosa prima, tostatura leggera e nocciola, apprezzabile ma giù in città si beve di meglio
