COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth, full-bodied nut brown ale, lightly hopped with a hint of roasted and crystal malts. This ale is dark in color without the heavy taste of porter or stout.

Pours gorgeous dark, dark, dark brown. Head disappears quickly...nice toasty flavor, however an unexpected after taste. Good Brown Ale.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin, Tel Aviv. Thanks David. Deep brown with small beige head. Sweetish aroma, notes of date honey, raisin and carob, a bit spicy. Quite sweet flavor, notes of date honey and carob, spicy and bready, light sourness and light hoppy bitterness. Moderate carbonation, light-bodied.

Draft. Pours not. Down with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like nutty malt, toasted, and some dry coffee. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like nutty malt, dry toast.

Slightly better than average brown ale. Smooth and crisp, like the other Lost Coasts that I tried, but nothing extra special. On the lighter side, good for daytime, etc. Sweet honey-sugary, nutty flavor with slight hop aftertaste. Pours dark brown with light carbonation, not too much head. Worth the try, but may go with the competition next time I go try a Brown Ale.

Nice roasted malt, coffee and chocolate flavor, silky finish reminds me of Moose Drool.

Le type de brune qui peut se boire sans problème par pinte entière. Une odeur de confiture de fraise avec un touche de chocolat, c’est un désert liquide qui se boit comme du petit lait!

A nice brown, good but not great. Pours a dark brown with a white head. Smells of hazelnut and cinnamon. Taste is vanilla, cinnamon and hazelnut with a bit of a thin finish. Had on tap at the Powder Leg in Hercules.

BOTTLE. Pours a red/cola with plenty of carb, bubbly cream head. Nose is a mix of malts & drinking chocolate. Definitely a nutty taste (slightly allergic) which wasn’t great, BUT a nice roasted malt, coffee & chocolate flavoured masked it for a good beer, silky finish. Sourced Cape Cellars

bottle @ Grassroots Natural Market / Jacksonville FL --- Clear very dark brown with a frothy 1" beige head, cobwebs of lace. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste is sweet malt that grows into the palate, adding a little roast and light hazelnut, becoming a little hoppy in a medium finish. Moves smoothly through, with a satisfying, balanced finish. Solid brew. A keeper.

355 ML bottle Dark brown color, light tan head. Good spotty lacing. Nose is roast, caramel, hazelnut, brown sugar. Warming nose. Taste is quite robust. Roast, brown sugar, hazelnut, soft coffee, licorice and just a soft hop kick. Bit of a thin finisher though. Medium robust body. Good carbonation. Only negative is the thin finish. Drank lots of this before Moose drool arrived in Arizona. I remember the why now. Good beer
