Draft. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable brew.

Draft… Clear dark ale (burnt orange when help up to light) with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is a bit subdued, but I’m able to pull notes of mocha and toasted nuts. Medium to full-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor is sweet with essences of mocha, toffee and a touch of cola. Finishes crisp, then lightly sweet.

On draft at the Eureka brewpub this came in the glass a dark amber when held up to the light and looked brown in the glass. It came with a half inch of off-white head and left light lacing rings. The nose is carmel malts with a light nuttiness. Medium body and very smooth mouthfeel that was easy to quaff, The flavor displays roasted chocolate malts with quite a bit of coffee flavor. Bitter coffee dominated finish. A very good rendition of a coffee laced brown ale.

Tap@Lost Coast. Woah, full on coffee beans, really bitter, tastes more like coffee than it down the brown ale. If you like coffee, drink this beer.
