An American version of the Belgian style. This unfiltered beer has a striking translucent, golden color with white clouds. Seemingly a contradiction in terms, it has a full body mouth-feel but is surprisingly light to drink. Topped with a hint of citrus, provided by Coriander and a secret blend of Humbolt herbs, this beer is slightly sweet and a delight to drink in any season.

Flat and bland, dry and chalky. Pale golden and slightly cloudy with small foamy head. Light wheat aromas and taste, very light. Not horrible, but not much there either.

Good warm weather beer. Slightly harsh /astringent on palate. Pine and city's peel notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours fizzy and pale yellow on tap with a thin white head; sparse lacing. Aroma is mostly grassy and floral; faint citrus notes. Taste is almost not worth mentioning. It tastes like water with faint notes of beer. Not bad, but not for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured into a Lost Coast Brewery Pint glass a light lemon yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is almost non existent. Maybe a hint of slight malt & lemon. Taste is watery thin. Finish is a lemon & bread. Weak to the palate. Witbier is not my fave style by far. And this one didn’t help one damn bit.

Draft at the Coffee District in Delray Beach, FL. American pint glass. Pours a rather hazy orange-amber with a two finger head. Some lacing. Aroma was light with some citrus and grasses. Taste was MEH. Light citrus, grass, too mild of hops, no balance with malts. Very bland overall. Rather dull as well. Carbonation too low. Kind of an off aftertaste. Not very good.

On tap. Murky gold, frothy head. Lots of corn in the nose with a touch of spice. Middling flavor with some yeast. Clean finish. Unremarkable, but not terrible.

Slight wheat bread aroma. Pale yellow color with thin white head. No cloudiness. Light bodied with mild bitterness and medium malt taste. Slight bit of sour taste with some wheat beer taste but not much. Below average for witbier. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2014 16oz pour at Beer Revolution. Hazy yellow pour with a decent white head. Aroma islemon, and coriander. Taste is citrus and wheat, with a yeasty kick on an otherwise smooth finish. Delicious, lighter than expected witbier.

12 oz bottle. (Jungle Jim’s) Fairfield, OH.
Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Tobacco in the aroma. Pilsner hoppy bitterness and bread. Not very pleasant. Flavour is very much Pilsner. Some yeast, malt, unpleasant bitterness and tobacco. No good. Quite frankly... bad!
