COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American version of the Belgian style. This unfiltered beer has a striking translucent, golden color with white clouds. Seemingly a contradiction in terms, it has a full body mouth-feel but is surprisingly light to drink. Topped with a hint of citrus, provided by Coriander and a secret blend of Humbolt herbs, this beer is slightly sweet and a delight to drink in any season.

Appearance: bright yellow pour, tiny, quickly fading white head, zero lace. Aroma: lemon, yeast, fresh bread; unpleasant funk when first opened, but that quickly faded. Taste: strong coriander and yeast, over citrus and wheat notes. Finish: clean, sweetish, with lingering wheaty, bready notes and a bit of coriander and maybe toasted rye (?). Notes: Was expecting this to be lousy for some reason, between the bottle art, the sickly head, and the initial funkiness on opening. On drinking, it was suprisingly flavorful (very coriander/spice-forward), with an excellent zingy palate and pleasant finish. Comparable to a Hoegaarden? Not nearly as good, but still pretty drinkable.

355mL bottle poured a cloudy golden color with a small white head and a trace of fine lacing. Aroma is caramel malts and some citrus with a hint of spices and a trace of yeast. Taste is malty sweet with a hint of spices and a mild hoppy finish. A decent wheat brew, but have sampled much better.

Inoffensive. Pours a cloudy honey with minimal head, no lace. Nice balance bewteen caramel wheat and light hops. Easy to drink, possible session beer, but there are many other more desirable candidates out there.

Great beer. One of our favorite breweries. The beer that started my love for beer. Citrus tastes, but not too overpowering.

Clean crisp and refreshing beer, great for summer drinking or after work knock-off drink. Has some nice wheat and light spice aroma coming through, a slight hint of sulphur too but not in a bad way. I didn’t pick up on the herbs too much, but having come across to Australia they may not have survived the journey.

This is...really sweet. I like it though. Citrus and spices are definitely overpowering, and as I prefer wheats to be refreshing, this is far from drinkable.

On tap. Pours a golden yellow. Pleasant fruity flavor. Nice carbonation.

Serving Glass: Poured from bottle into white wine glass. Appearance: Cloudy pale yellow with thin white head. Aroma: Sweet wheat, some citrus and grassiness. Taste: Tastes like overly sweet wheat. Citrus is light and the spiciness is close to nonexistent. Claims there is coriander; not sure I believe it. Horribly unbalanced. Palate: Moderate carbonation, light body, not at all dry. Overall: Simply not a good Witbier.

I didn’t care for this beer too much. Seemed bland and watered down. Lacked any striking flavor that would set it apart. Light body with a very mild Belgian flavor. Definitely a summer beer.

Pours a light yellow on tap at the yard. Aroma is light fruit & alcohol. Flavor is a bit mild but orange. Not too bad.
