An American version of the Belgian style. This unfiltered beer has a striking translucent, golden color with white clouds. Seemingly a contradiction in terms, it has a full body mouth-feel but is surprisingly light to drink. Topped with a hint of citrus, provided by Coriander and a secret blend of Humbolt herbs, this beer is slightly sweet and a delight to drink in any season.

Poured this beer into my trusty Samuel Adams glass. The pour produced a clear yellow body topped by a head of white foam which diminished fully. The aroma was light and wheaty in character. The body was watery, and the palate was slightly sweet with moderate carbonation. This was a fair light-bodied beer, great for a hot summer’s day, though not for the the current temperature of -4F.

On tap at Jimmy Buffet’s At BeachComber Waikiki 271214. Not the greatest witbier I have had. Okay with hazy appearance, thin body and fruit flavour.

355 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in New Town Plaza, Shatin.

Clear golden honey colour with thin trace of yeast sediments; One finger head and white foam which lasts for 1 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Fragrant aroma of malt, with fresh citrus zest, orange peels, coriander, light floral, strong yeast, bread, lemon and strong grass; Close to medium sweet taste of light malt, with light wheaty tartness, light floral, coriander, light orange peels, light molasses notes, light yeast, light bread, lemon, and fairly light bitter grassy hops; Mid to light body. Dry and slick palate; Mouth Feel is solid malty base, wheat elements and tartness is relatively low. Good light floral hoppyness throughout with coriander, good light citrus zest and moderate yeastiness. Pretty good and easy… Hoppiness is strong citrus zest, light floral, lemon and strong grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is very light, typical for the style, for a wheaty, very low-fi finish; Quite dry after taste. Refreshing and zesty to mouth.

Commenst: More than a on-standard Belgian White, this one has fragrant lemony zest and citrus peels for nose and taste all the way, while keeping a good light taste malty without being too wheaty. It seems to kept a low profile, but the hops and fruitness shine when its matters. Nice!

A good smooth drinking beer. Lots of citrus overtones with just a touch of bitterness. Nice beer.

"i’d take this one before some of the much more expensive wits...it stacks up well enough in all 5 catergories. A refreshing summer ale, nothing less, nothing more."

I had this at Global Brew. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste coriander, citrus, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a large head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of citrus, spice, and a bit of a nutty note. Flavor matches aroma with addition of a hint of caramel. Mildly sweet, low bitterness.

On tap 4 oz. sampler at Westover Beer Haus in Arlington, VA. Clear, silvery yellow with an off-white head and fair lacing. Aroma of lemony and orange citrus, coriander and malt. Taste of wheat, lemon, orange, coriander and biscuit. Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation with a foamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

First time I tasted this beer, it is a good one. Called a friend near Whole Foods, and he got all they had and we are enjoying the 4th one now...
