DrBayern (925), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Jun 20, 2008 12 oz. bottle on 6/20/08. Hazy yellow, spare white head, lots of bubbles, little lace. Aroma of honey, peach, citrus, and light spice. Light body, lively effervescence, fairly clean palate.
Flavors are all rather subtle, a light sweet entry is followed slowly by just enough soft bitterness and spiciness to result in a barely dry finish. A summer refresher.
michael-pollack (1362), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Slight aroma of corn and a little citrus. Poured yellow in color with a tiny white head that disappeared immediately. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles. Cloudy piss. Lightly sweet flavor. Tastes of citrus, lemon, lime, and herbs. Soda-like. Light to medium body. Oily texture becomes chalky and dry. Average carbonation. Dry, citrus finish. Not really a Witbier. NoiZe (875), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 12, 2008 Tasted @ the Loast Coast Brewery in Eureka.
Grassy and lemon aroma. Fruity, coriander and malty flavor. Not bad, a bit light. Nik925 (92), California, USA Aug 11, 2008 Bad, Bad, Bad. This beer manged to get "would prefer an MGD" in my notes. Uninspired, poorly executed...Lost Coast has a couple of good ones, this is not one of them. Beershine (1207), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 4, 2008 Draught at The Room, SoFi. Hazy pale golden. Light tropical fruits. Not yeasty or bubble gummy, just mild aromas. Thin and quaffable. Fruity and candy-like qualities like Emergen-C. Pretty boring. eburrell (7), Spring Valley, California, USA does not count Aug 2, 2008 Overall my first impression was White as in belgian, which is not my style. But I got to tasting and drinking and I really liked this one it has mild wheatiness and herbeacous vibes to it.
Not bad
