Draught pint at Beer is Food, Singapore on 28/03/15. Cloudy orange amber colour with a large thick white head. Softly carbonated. Aroma of pine, citrus fruit. Nice flavour of grapefruit, oranges, a little caramel and floral hops. Slightly bitter fruity flavour - a nice IPA.

Bottle. Pours a nice golden yellow colour with decent carbonation. Taste. Immediatley i can taste Sweet Orange, general citrus flavours, with a lingering piney bitterness. Overall. Quite a good beer sweet and juicy on entry, and a nice piney bitterness on finish, quite a solid ipa.

Resin, dank, pine and some citrus in aroma. Cloudy, off white head that stays forever. Nice hop bite with not much in the aftertaste but pine. Very drinkable and nice overall.

Nice IPA nothing outstanding. Solid hop aroma. Slightly over carbonated. Enjoyable and easy to drink. Was hoping for a bit more layered flavor from malt and hop combo. Bought this in Hawaii and brought it back home.

Draft at 2014 Fall Keyaki in a sampler set from Ezo Beer. Hazy orangish amber color with a modest off-white head. Big aromas of pine needles, resin, and slight earthiness with undertones of grapefruit. Tastes more of the same with nice balanced in the hop varietals. No one hop flavor stood out too much. Nice malt backbone keeping the whole thing in check. Nice dry and bitter finish. Solid IPA.

Clear golden, orange beer with a one finger high head that leaves a lot of lacing on the glass. Nose: Pine, grass, orange, caramel and grapefruit. Taste: Resin, pine, grapefruit, orange marmelade and sweet caramel malt. Body: Full body with crisp carbonation. Soft taste and a great, balanced bitterness at the end. Great IPA from Lost Coast!

bartlebier (2366) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2015
12oz bottle, affordable surprise at Village de la Bière, Strasbourg I/2015. Light and crisp West Coast version of a British IPA, lush with orange blossom and leafy hops on thin biscuit malts. Never too piney, but drawing from the intense C-hop register in an approachable way. Notes of aromatic Lady Grey and citrus zest remain context, not main event. Friendly, radiant, sessionable.
