A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is resin, pine, and hay. The flavor is resin and floral with a slight burn.

I wasn’t sure whether or not I liked this one a lot or just a little. It had an okay aroma, not as hoppy as I was expecting. Taste was alright. Nothing too crazy honestly. The name made me thing I was going to have some dank hop bomb and it was kind of not. It’s a nice looking beer for sure.

On tap at Republic. Pours a clear amber gold with a thick off-white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of earthy pine with a bit of grass and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor has a similar of earthy pine with some earthy grain and a bit of biscuit underlying.

Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with one fat finger of loose white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, light lacing. Nose is dank hops (yes, pot), grapefruit, and light malt. Taste leads out with light malt before a citrus rind bitterness. Medium body, low carbonation, and a lingering bitter finish. No bottle date (come on, people!) so I can’t evaluate how bright the hops are supposed to be. This bottle is dominated by dank weedy hops, smelling very much like the marijuana it’s named after. If that’s the intent, well, mission accomplished - but I suspect there might once have been some lighter citrus in there that’s faded a bit. Not a bad IPA by any means, and not quite as much of a one-trick pony as some of the single-hop ales I’ve had, but still a little one-dimensional.

Bottle at Cherry Bomb. Slightly opaque gold. Big hop aroma with grapefruit and a nice malt aftertaste. Great bitter flavour, lots of hops and fruit.

A bohókás küllemű üvegeiről egyszerűen felismerhető kaliforniai Lost Coast főzde ezen darabja krémes illatú, juharszirupos, édesen komlós aromájú ital, melynek íze a típus mintapéldáját produkálja, amennyiben a süteménytésztás, növényesen édes, zöldséges jellegű IPA-válfajról beszélünk. Ezen alkotók által terelgetve egy könnyen fogyasztható, árnyalt, mégis egyszerű, de tökéletesen kerek főzet képei vésődnek be kortyonként az emlékezetünkbe.

35 cl Awesome bottle. Pours a nice medium frothy white head, hazy orange colour with ruby/copper reflexes. Smells biscuity, caramel malts, fruity, strawberry and piny; some really nice hops and malts balance in the aroma. Taste fruity and caramel initially, then biscuity and piny, with . Low sweetness, medium and very smooth bitterness, not as sharp and full as in other West coast IPAs; soft carbonation. Very nice, balanced and drinkable PS. I got a relatively fresh bottle, but would love to try these really freshly brewed (couple of months max), with the full crispness and hops going on (:P)
