Clear golden, orange beer with a one finger high head that leaves a lot of lacing on the glass.
Nose: Pine, grass, orange, caramel and grapefruit.
Taste: Resin, pine, grapefruit, orange marmelade and sweet caramel malt.
Body: Full body with crisp carbonation. Soft taste and a great, balanced bitterness at the end.
Great IPA from Lost Coast!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle, affordable surprise at Village de la BiŤre, Strasbourg I/2015. Light and crisp West Coast version of a British IPA, lush with orange blossom and leafy hops on thin biscuit malts. Never too piney, but drawing from the intense C-hop register in an approachable way. Notes of aromatic Lady Grey and citrus zest remain context, not main event. Friendly, radiant, sessionable.

BOTTLE. Poured a clear golden colour with lingering thin white head. Floral hop notes & a bitterness on the nose. Floral hoppy kick up front that ended up with solid bitterness at the back end.. much like the aroma.

In a word...FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! Ok, so that's two words. I don't care - I need to be able to fully articulate my feelings and emotions right now. So back OFF! Hoppy, balanced, crisp, fresh and clean. I've sampled many 'IPA's' of late and this one, in my humble opinion, is an excellent representation of what a true IPA should be. Higher ABV, fresh hop aroma and nice and pine-resin-y! I should mention, I do sell this beer HOWEVER, I invite you to try and then judge. I'm a fan. I understand others may not be. I pity the fools.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not the best IPA I have had. Tastes like itís trying to be a DIPA with the IBU level. Some decent tropical flavours but nothing too special. Odd metallic taste.

So I can't tell if I like this beer. Had on draft but tastes like a bottled beer lacking freshness or crispness. Strong flavor that's almost too much metal-like taste on the palate. Strong hops just not in the unique way a I love. Fine. Not bad. Not special.
On draft in Hawaii.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap in South Korea. Sweet pine and strawberry aroma with delicate caramel and grapefruit accents. Slightly hazy copper under a lasting, off-white cover. Flavour is very hoppy, with strawberry and pineapple up front, followed by a sweet, light caramel malt backbone and grapefruit and light apricot notes. Bitterness is subdued and ethanol comes through a bit, but the beer isnít hot. Medium to full body, moderate to medium carbonation, tangy and smooth feel.
