Really nice sweet, floral, hoppy aroma. Taste is malty and hoppy. Bitterness overpowers sweetness slightly. Overall, really good. Funknmilla (604), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Light copper, tan head....real appeasing malt aroma, yummy and sweet, its quite pleasing to the nasal senses...I could smell it all day, or at least until its consumed....very good flavor...malted more than anything, but the citrus is placed well in the malts...medium body....the finish is abrupt and very clean BelgianBeerGal (1331), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 30, 2007 Bottle poured into a glass shaker. Hazy goulden/amber colour with a small tan head that lasts with good lacing. Aroma of hops and grapefruit. Flavour about the same, pretty strong IBU content. Nice IPA, above average. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2007 Pours a cloudy light amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma a mild grassy hoppiness with a touch of sweet, a little malt below. Not real impressed with the aroma for an IPA. The taste has the grassy flavor nearing dangerously close to soapy. A nice malt presence is here, though. A decent IPA, and hard to confuse with a DIPA. keith0718 (167), Olathe, Kansas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 23, 2007 For my taste, this was too heavy for an IPA; it seemed to have the malt character of an Imperial IPA, without the accompanying ABV level to match. And I didn’t care too much for the hop character; it was more bitter than flavorful. a10555 (125), West Chester, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2007 I enjoyed this one. Kind of sweet aroma, with an amber color. Ton’s of sediment in this 22 oz bottle, left about an 1/8 of inch on the bottom of my glass. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 12, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy, mellow gold. Lots of sediment in this one, despite my best efforts. Whispy, small white head with good lacing. Aroma of citrus, mainly grapefruit. Mouthfeel of caramel with a mild bitter base. Very nice beer, well balanced. cathcacr (598), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Whatever the consensus is drinking, it’s not what’s in this bottle. I was conscientious to keep the sediment out as much as I could; produced a nice fluffy rocky retained head. The rest was mild and subdued, much too much so for this style, and not offset by such endearing qualities as, e.g., Fuggles.
