3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 650ml @ Hotel Room, Courtyard Oyster Point, San Francisco, CA
Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes malt, caramel, orange, citrus and hint of pine. Taste is medium sweet and heavy bitter with a very fruity and very bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, orange-golden beer topped by a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma is a bit one-dimensional, rather sweetish and malty, with some fruityness. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Slightly one-dimensional flavor too, thereís bitterness, and piney, peachy fruityness. Bitterness too. Lasting finish. A decent IPA indeed, but it lacks balance. Itís both too one dimensional and too bitterness considering the sweetness level. 130803

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Mild bitterness for an IPA. Well balanced. Citrus, fruity, malty finish.

4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 3, 2013 The aroma is as colourful as the label. Mangoes, paw-paw, passion fruit and sweet moscato grapes. Cloudy copper, just right. The flavour is more citric, too dry and straight bitter. I wish it could have had more fruits in it. Lovely pine resin on the palate, making it still a great IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The Lost Notebook Files Beer #7. In my early days I rated this a 4.4. That was probably a touch generous. Pours between amber and red. Hoppiness sits perfectly on the precipice of bitterness. This a beer that probably needs a re-rate. Bottle - Somewhere in Knoxville, TN

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap, pours a very nice golden yellow, thin white head, lots of lacing. Great nose, hops, pine, dry grass. Mild attack, very dry and crisp. Long good finish.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A nice fruity nose. Fresh fruity hops, light bitterness, big oranges, lemons, light zesty resin. Very flavorful. Smooth and tasty. Good IPA.

Hazy orange colored pour. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. Very nice aroma of citrus and malt. Taste is the same; a malty citrus bomb. Very good. Very good.
