3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 beerandbeyond (452) - ISRAEL - JAN 25, 2013
12oz bottle poured into a tumbler glass.
Slightly hazy nice copper color with a decent off white head.
Hoppy nose (pine, some tropical fruit and grass) with sweet malt aroma and some fruitiness.
Juicy malt flavors, sweet caramel, baked pears in alcohol, some spiciness, med-hi bitterness.
Med body, long bitter finish, some medicinal notes and overall quite good.

Pours a clear amber orange color with a thick fluffy head of foam. Scent has that of bitter hops and crisp malts. Taste is crisp and clean with a mild bitterness to it. I’m picking up a little caramel and sugar hints in the taste as well as wheat. Drinks nicely but I think just a tad to easily in my opinion. A nicely made IPA that is fresh and not hopped up on hops. Defiently worth the try
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 chinchill (586) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 9, 2013
12 oz bottle served in pint glass poured a cloudy amber color with a thin head that barely covers the top. Some dark sediment in bottle (added part way thru tasting).
Aroma & Flavor: Subtle aroma for a bold IPA. Piney hops dominate the taste, but a nice caramel malt partly balances the bitterness, especially in the finish. Yeasty and earthy notes; too much of these for my taste, but not unexpected in an unfiltered ale. Medium body and carbonation.

It is a good IPA. I’m no beer expert, but I enjoy it. The aftertaste leaves a bit to be desired. A great looking beer with great up front taste. A good IPA just not my favorite
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sergelutaba (64) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 26, 2012
Poured beautiful hazy deep orange with a large foamy lasting off-white head and lovely lacing. Aroma is a very mild citrus (orange and grapefruit) fresh hop with juicy sweet malt - touch of fruit and fresh ripe hay. Taste is balanced but delivers quite a bit more sharp fresh grapefruit hops than the nose promises, with strong pine-spruce resin and some dried wildflower to go along with the fresh-but-mild sweet malt. Mouthfeel is juicy, sharp, medium-bodied and quite acidic-lively.

Great amount if hops. And there are many beers that state that their beers are hop explosion and whatnot, but the indica actually has a good amount. Darker style grains for sure; I’m guessing a crystal of 60-80L. Good amount of head. Strong and bitter aftertaste, but nothing to make you cringe.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 tricyclist (444) - Spring Hill, Florida, USA - NOV 27, 2012
Wow, I never think of Lost Coast as making stellar beers, but the flavor on this is pretty solid. Citrus nose of orange and grapefruit... light bitterness... flavor is fantastic though. Bold hoppy citrus, bitter, lemon grass, orange rind... fresh grass.. really a good flavor all around. light/medium body and drinkable.
