Tap at 2014 Capitol Beer Fest. Pours amber with a beige head. Light malty aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is mild roast malt with some mild spice. Finishes towards dry.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours orange with a small white head. Nose of caramel malts, light ripe fruit. Medium body. Smooth on the palate. Flavor is tasty with fruit, caramel, and light spice. Well made and good for the style.

Growler. Pours clear orangey copper and effervescent with a light beige head. The aroma is sweet, with sugary toffee, plum, and apricot, and perhaps some brown sugar. The flavor is sweet caramel, toasted malt and light toffee, with some fruit and alcohol. A little bitter grass. Light aroma and flavor, but easy-drinking. [779]

On tap at the Alibi. Pours a orange tinged gold with an ample off white head. Aroma is slightly biscuity malt with a good dose of caramel. Flavour features the same malt notes but also with an orchard fruit. Finishes well. Solid.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma of caramel malts, light fruits and biscuits - more complex than average for the style. Flavour follows suit - quite fruity, with caramel and biscuity notes. Quite complex and full-bodied. Very nicely made.
