Not a hint of tangerine here, itís ripe and juicy and powerfully aromatic. Soft yellow, short lasting head. Very sweet and plasticy. Thereís some wheat there, and I love Lost Coast, so when I say this beer tastes artificial Iím not implying anything. But I canít take a second sip.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light orange amber with a thin white head. Aroma is tangerine and other citrus and a touch of malt. Flavor is also tangerine and malt, with only a hint of bitterness. Smooth and light mouthfeel. Not bad, but not my thing really. It is different, but I think I like other wheats better.

On Tap. Pours with a clear gold, with a small white head. Aroma of spice and some artificial Tangerine syrup. Taste is sweet and full of wheat notes and fake orange. Medium bubbles. Not my thing.

On tap at Pizza Port San Clementeís Session Ale fest 2009, I guess Iím against the grain on this one, I liked it. Nice tangerine nose and crisp wheat flavor make this a good summer beer.

Fresh Tangerine smell with a murky burnt orange colour. Nice for a change of pace but not somthing i would drink very often.

22oz bottle. Light orange. huge tangerine fruit juice aroma. Smells like childernís Tylenol and orange crush. Flavor is of orange crush and light malt. Lots of flavor and aroma... not for the beer though. 13 sept 08

22 oz. bottle. Clear yellow gold under a spare, collapsing, bubbly white head. Citus dominates the aroma, some clover honey follows, and overall there is an almost perfume like character. Light body, crisp, clean palate, and leaning toward fizziness. The flavor has a soapiness to it, almost like the kind of fragrant, scented soap that one finds in the guest bathroom. Finishes with a sweetness that does nothing to enhance the experience. Iím not sure why I bought this. Probably because I like tangerines, but in a beer, at least this one, it seems like a huge mistake.

Served on draft in a plastic cup... Clear dark orangey gold with a modest white head. Aroma is tangerine, grains, cream, and citrus. Flavor is grainy with banana pith notes and a rather decently-melded tangerine note. Doesnít taste overly artificial, although it is pretty sweet. Inoffensive, better than a lot of crummy fruit wheat beers out there.

Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a white head. Aroma is tangerine candy and some malty notes. Flavor is tangerine candy, some caramel, crystal malts, and a bitter citrus finish.

Pours a hazy orange. Thin white head with decent lacing. Fruity tangerine aroma. Flavor is sweet tangerine going hand-in-hand with the wheat. I know a lot of people donít like strong fruit flavors, but here I think it works OK. If you order a tangerine wheat beer, youíre going to get pretty much what you expect.
