2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Drank right after an orange shandy so a weird comparison. Only a slight tangerine taste and aroma. Very light orange gold color that was a little hazy. Actually better than the orange shandy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled November 13, 2012 (9 months old).
Appearance: The body is orange with a light haze, which is expected with a wheat beer. The head is light tan, tall and persistent. Nice looking wheat beer.
Aroma: This smells entirely of freshly zested tangerine. It reminds me of brewing my witbier.
Taste: This is an odd sensation, malty with huge tangerine flavor. Hints of caramel, but mostly sweet malts. The tangerine is definitely present. This reminds me of tangerine juice.
Palate: A bit heavy on the body and not as much carbonation as I’d like. It’s a bit on the low side.
Overall: This is definitely old, but even so I enjoy it. The tangerine is perfect for this and I wish I could find this in New Jersey. This is very refreshing and something I would love to wake up to.

1.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Amber golden w/ little head. Slightly lively. Aroma is of tangerine and ammonia. Full bodied w/ flavors of citrus, yeast, and disinfectant. Not something I would ever reach for again.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled from a bottle at Morocco in Epcot. Not sure why this was in Morocco as an American beer, but I won’t complain. Poured a brilliant orange color and immediately you get the orange/tangerine aroma. The fruit favor is very strong up front but finishes nice and crisp. It went delightfully well with my large piece of baklava.

Amber / orange color. Tangerine aroma. Not much of a head. Slightly sweet tangerine taste. All in all a good summer wheat.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, 22oz. A lightly unclear one, golden in color and with a small, white head. Artificial orange and generic citrus in the aroma, some almost puke-ish malts. The flavor too is mostly on the citrusy side, tangerine dominating. Not much malts. Medium body, soft carbonation. Orangey finish. Not my cup of tea. 130804

Strong tangerine taste with wheat. Liked this beer for a long time. Also appreciate the way Lost Coast incorporates fruit into their beer in general.
