This cloudy yellowish orange beer poured with a thin white head that bubbled away. There is a strong aroma of, guess what, tangerine. The flavor is wheat heavily laced with tangerine juice. Itís either bad beer or bad tangerine juice depending on your point of view.

Draught at Tadgís. Deep golden orange. Huge tangerine nose, like a Fanta. Slightly creamy. Flavor is tangerine, wheat malt, and something spicy. Decent enough, but a bit soda-like and the fruit is not very natural tasting.

Sample bottle, pours a hazy orange-y yellow. Aroma of orange and wheat. Flavour is a dry orange, wheat, no sweetness - thin body. Not a big fan.

12oz bottle. Hazy darker yellow-orange color (much like what I think tangerine nectar would look like), lots of visible particles that give the brew a really cool looking bottle when the glass is rotated. Nearly no head - a tiny cluster of like 15 bubbles on the surface and thatís it. I donít even have to be near it, and I can smell the tangerine aroma. It smells a lot like Sunkist up close. This isnít exactly tangerine juice, but I think "a hint of tangerine" is an understatement. A bit too carbonated. I want to drink this like itís juice, but the carbonation makes this less smooth. Sweet taste. Going to sour. Interesting, but not the most drinkable fruit beer.

Bottle:   Hazy orange, rather murky while staying fairly fiery, thin sudsy white head, sparce lacing.   Smells like Tangerine flavored Alka Selzer.   Has that airyness to Alka Selzer when you stick it in water.   Wow, much the same on the tongue.   Not as medicinal, mild sweetness, a little chalky.   Wheat aspect isnít all that filling, and the Tangerine is rather fake.   Oridnary body and mouthfeel, at least not as heavy and perhaps even a bit airy on the tongue.   This was a peculiar beer, if you could call it that.

22. Pours a slightly hazy orangeish medium amber. Loose, bubbly white head rears up and just as quickly fades away to virtually nothing at all. Tangerine nose hits you from across the room...or is that orange-flavored gum drops? Where do you draw the line? Smells like a metric ton of white sugar under the fruit note, is what it smells like. Watery medium body, slightly fizzy for a minute but nothing too noteworthy. Saccharine tangerine flavors, some white sugar, some aspartame. Long acrid chemical finish. Not real pleasant.

Bottle. Pours gold with a fizzy white head. Smells like orange sherbet or orange soda, with a faint wheaty base. Tastes like a mix of equal parts wheat ale and orange soda. Not too bad. It’s drinkable.

Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Slightly hazy orangy golden hue with a quickly disappearing head and no lace. The aroma has a huge tangerine extract character along with Bayer aspirin, hint of corn and rice by-products, not much else. The taste is twangy fruit but the chalky aspirin notes is overwhelming. Add some adjunct overtone and you have a brew that is basically undrinkable. Even the mouth feel is below average, watery and chalky. WOW, this brew just down right sucks. No wonder I waited this long to have this... down the drain this goes.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Holy tangerine, Batman, they arenít kidding. The aroma on this is nothing but tangerine and some peel. The flavor on this is so citrus and tangerine that when mixed with carbonation it tastes almost exactly like diet orange soda. There is also just a hint of malt and hops, but itís basically soda. Extremely high carbonation to boot.
