3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale gold in color, with a thick, white head. Aroma of citrus (duh). Okay, Iím going out of my comfort zone here, as I generally donít like beers made with anything other than malted barley, hops, yeast and water. This one violates that rule in two ways: it has wheat and fruit in it. Wheat beer to me is a violation of beer morality, just as rice is (hello, Budweiser) and corn (hola, any beer from Mexico). And fruit? Hey, I love orange juice, and yes, even tangerine juice. But in beer?!! Anyways...why did I try this? Because a friend of mine says it is her favorite beer, and she has encouraged me to try it many times. So now the deed is done. The verdict? Itís actually not bad. In fact, it is a rather refreshing malted beverage. But I donít think I would drink it when I wanted a beer - I would drink it when I wanted something fruity, refreshing and alcoholic.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: clear pale gold with a short white head diminishing rapidly to nothing, no lacing. (2/5) Aroma: tangerine, wheat, pale malt. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, mild bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium body, moderate to low carbonation, short duration finish. (3/5)
A bit unidimensional. Yes, the tangerine is pleasant enough, and doesnít come across as fake, but thatís about all there is to this. Ultimately, itís orange juice in a bland IPA. (12/20)

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at Mugishutei. The orange juice character is quite overwhelming, feels more like a cocktail. Too sweet overall, not my thing.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from the bottle at the Oklahoma Craft Beer Fest. Pours a visibly carbonated pale gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet tangerine with a light wheat note backing. Flavor has sweet tangerine, sweet grains and sweet wheat. A bit soda like with the carbonation.

Nice summer. Very fruity. Like adding lemonade or Sprite, but lacks the complexity to be a highly rated IPA

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hint of tangerine? Are you kidding me... This tastes like fresh tangerines mixed into mcdonalds orange juice. Iíd definitely suggest this beer to someone over a radler but to a beer geek no thanks.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty strong tangerine aroma. Taste is like tangerine juice mixed with a pretty dry wheat beer. Tangerine is overwhelming and is feels very íjuicyí and kind of overrides the dryness of the wheat.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. (Whole Foods) Las Vegas, NV.
Clear golden colour with a small white head.
Sweetness, cookies, tangerine, orange peel and malt in the aroma.
The flavour is sweetness, tangerine, cookies, malt and some mild bitterness. Not bad fruit beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
BOD 11/6/14. Pours a slightly cloudy light amber gold. Below normal head volume and retention, normal lacing.
Outstanding nose of sweet tangerine that has a nice crisp airiness to it over a rich biscuit base.
Light medium body with a smooth texture. Slightly above normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice burst in the finish.
The flavor profile is good, but lacks intensity and comes across as a bit weak. Complexity is slight - it is a weak tangerine over a weak biscuit sweetness. Balance is very good. It begins with weak tangerine over a slight biscuit sweetness that flows into a slightly bitter middle. The finish is a bit crisp and a slight tangerine rind bitterness lingers. Up the flavor intensity and this one becomes outstanding. Itís got all the right components in balance, just not enough of them.
