3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale gold in color, with a thick, white head. Aroma of citrus (duh). Okay, Iím going out of my comfort zone here, as I generally donít like beers made with anything other than malted barley, hops, yeast and water. This one violates that rule in two ways: it has wheat and fruit in it. Wheat beer to me is a violation of beer morality, just as rice is (hello, Budweiser) and corn (hola, any beer from Mexico). And fruit? Hey, I love orange juice, and yes, even tangerine juice. But in beer?!! Anyways...why did I try this? Because a friend of mine says it is her favorite beer, and she has encouraged me to try it many times. So now the deed is done. The verdict? Itís actually not bad. In fact, it is a rather refreshing malted beverage. But I donít think I would drink it when I wanted a beer - I would drink it when I wanted something fruity, refreshing and alcoholic.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours orangish with a white head. Taste orange, citrus. I thought this was so so. I could drink this again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting, thanks to Ron. It poured a clear orange color with a small white head. The aroma was of tangerine and a bit of wheat. The taste was crisp of tart tangerines, malt, yeast and wheat. There was a lingering tartness that ended a bit watery. Very nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle - pours hazy gold with white head. Nose is orange candy which takes me back to my paternal grandparents for the holidays. I think the wheat takes away from the awesomeness that is the tangerine. Damned good (oxymoron).

8/5/2010. From bottle. Golden yellow with a white head. Fruity aromas with light malt. Refreshing and simple, but it works somehow. Good on a hot day.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft sample at 2013 Cincinnati Brew Ha Ha festival. Nice orange/tangerine nose, cloudy orange/yellow color, tastewise sweet fruitiness battles with cheap grainy bitterness. A lot more effort went into the logo/bottle label design than into the beer. Tasted on August 24, 2013.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Poured from bottle to glass. Clear golden with a nice white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is heavy tangerine with slight floral notes. Tangerine really overpowers other aromas. Mouthfeel is light with a light carbonation. Taste is slightly acidic due to the carbonation and citrus. Tangerine is really apparent in the finish, but comes accross almost artificial...even though the bottle states "natural flavoring". Overall not especially impressive.

12oz bottle. Cloudy yellow/orange with a small white head. Aroma is tangerine/citrus peel, wheat and light spice. Flavor is citrusy with light yeast esters and mild malt. Light body and fairly refreshing. Not bad just not really my thing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bright orange color with a large white head. HUGE tangerine aroma flows from the glass. Overpowers any wheat aspect of this beer. Tastes like a liquified jolly rancher but somehow not cloying. Certainly an experience but once is enough for me.
