Pale gold in color, with a thick, white head. Aroma of citrus (duh). Okay, I’m going out of my comfort zone here, as I generally don’t like beers made with anything other than malted barley, hops, yeast and water. This one violates that rule in two ways: it has wheat and fruit in it. Wheat beer to me is a violation of beer morality, just as rice is (hello, Budweiser) and corn (hola, any beer from Mexico). And fruit? Hey, I love orange juice, and yes, even tangerine juice. But in beer?!! Anyways...why did I try this? Because a friend of mine says it is her favorite beer, and she has encouraged me to try it many times. So now the deed is done. The verdict? It’s actually not bad. In fact, it is a rather refreshing malted beverage. But I don’t think I would drink it when I wanted a beer - I would drink it when I wanted something fruity, refreshing and alcoholic.

"looks like an IPA but brighter, smells of tangerine, tastes of tangerine...did i mention the tangerine? Not a well balanced beer, but somewhat refreshing anyway. A good summer seasonal and nothing more. You could taste the wheat as it warmed, but the tangerine flavor & nose, which isn’t bad, is WAY overdone. A little subtlety would have went a long way. 2013 tastes more bud light like esque every time."

355ml bottle. Hazed amber pour, struggles to form a head. Man the smell is a sweet orange/tangerine candy, almost too much like a candy almost smells artificial. The mouthfeel is crisp, some bread and caramel notes with an overbearing citrus character. It is just too over the top with the flavoring.

This beer pours a hazy orange golden color with a small soapy white head. The head fades out quickly leaving just a thin ring of slick bubbles on top of the beer. There is very little in the way of lacing. The aroma hit me right in the nose from the pop of the cap. It has a big bold freshly zested orange/tangerine peel and pith character over pale wheat bready notes. It has a thin base of mildly sweet wheat malt with a heavy pungent dose of orange oil and zest with pith. The tangerine seems to add to malt sweetness and at the same time add a slight bitter orange character as well. Hops are well hidden but offer a slight herbal bitterness that picks up on the orange bitterness. The mouth feel is a bit thin and the carbonation comes off fizzy.

This was awful! Like orange sugar candy crushed and boiled in water and then chilled.

Tastes exactly as promoted. Fresh squeezed flavor. Not artificial. Light wheat, American style. Great aroma. Want too bathe in it.

Refreshing wheat beer with a light tangerine after taste. Nice summer time beer but could get overwhelming after a couple ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very tasty and a bit addicting. The sweet tangerine taste is another great fruit wheat blend perfect for summertime. Kick back in the sun and enjoy!

12oz bottle shared. Poured a medium orange color with a minimal white head. Aroma is a strong tangerine/citrus. Aroma and flavor. You get the zest of the peel. Body and mouth feel is a bit on the light side and you do get some wheat flavor in the end.

Bottle from Asahiya. Powdered orange drink nose. Hazy (near cloudy) light orange/amber color, no head. Sweetish fruity citrus, a slight chemical note in mid palate, very light bitttering in finish, along with more citrus zest. Thin-medium body. Hardly a hint of wheat here (except maybe in body). It’s really all tangerine and citrus zest. Light and refreshing -- just not so tasty, as a beer.
