COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION A Belgian strong ale. The original style was called Duvall (devil) due to its higher alcohol content than normal beers. Like the Devil, the great distorter-confuser, the name conjures up a darker heavy beer when in actuality this is a golden, effervescent, light-bodied, crisp strong ale.
