COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a crispy light colored lager that has plent of flavor. It is a revival of a beer that was brewed a couple of years ago and it is back by popular demand.

From the tap, sampled at the proper cooler cellar temperature in a pint glass. Poured a chill hazy reddish dark amber with a foamy, bubbly topped off-white head that settled into a thin ringed lacing. Had a sweet candied fruity nose with a earthy spice and sweet malty nose. Good medium caarbonation and a watery crisp, thin, medium-light bodied mouthfeel. Different tasting, I would say weird, watery candied fruit flavor, thin sweet malts, an out of place buttery flavor in the middle, and a softly bitter tobacco leafy, herbal finish, watery in the aftertaste. I’m sorry, but for me, this is a dark/red lager that is unbalanced and confused all around, I’m glad I didn’t buy a growler of this, but got a pint instead, not very tasty.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear ruby color with thin off white head that left no lace on the glass. Aroma is light brown sugar. Distinct buttery pretzel flavor with a touch of malty brown sugar at the end. Dry and slightly bitter on the tongue.

The body was dark copper with a white head. The aroma was fresh bread and almonds. A nice smell. The taste had some dry bread with some peanuts. The finish had some definite caramel. A decent dark lager.
