A traditional German beer style that was all but extinct 30 years ago. An amazingly refreshing beer brewed with coriander and sea salt. The tart, dry finish combined with the hint of salt and citrus leaves your palate craving another sip.

8oz glass at a beer dinner. Pours a light hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma slightly funky. Flavor big salt hit under sour with coriander peeking through. Medium body. My first sour and a strange experience. This might drink really well on a hot summer day.

Seems like a nice example of the style. It’s got something of a sweet and sour thing going along with the saltiness. Hits the spot after I was out hiking. Soft mouthfeel, delicate taste.Funky nose with citrus.

Can from trade. Poured in mouth. Nose is lightly tart with some faint lemon. Light sulfur. Some dmstaste is barely tart with minimal salt or coriander. Rather sweet. Decent beer but not that sour. Kind of grows on you after a few sips.

On tap at Three Penny Taproom. Milky blonde with a foamy white head. Flavors are cereals, lemon, lime, salt and coriander with spicy notes. Moderate lactic acidity. Light to medium body, good carbonation, slick texture.

1 pint can served on shaker. Pours hazy pure lemon yellow. Minimal white head. Aroma is mild: old lemons, coriander, toast. Mouth feels light, crisp and tart, very dry, no bitterness. Medium-lasting salty finish (that’s the best part).

Can 473 ml
Aroma: mild funk, slight feel of salt on pineapple, worty behind. Pleasant.
Look: poured with large not overly dense white top, sparse lace shown. Bottom was cloudy gold.
Palate: medium thinner bodied, lower carbonation, prickly set up. Taste: lemon juice, salt with pale malts. Tad too salty for my linking. Too tart for style as well. Refreshing? Yes. Just this did not worked for my needs and wants.

Canette 473ml. Couleur jaune pâle translucide, mousse blanche laissant une légère dentelle. Arôme de coriandre, légère acidité, salin, céréales. Goût de grains de coriandre, légèrement salée, légère acidité, lime, malt. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

Can from o hell I can’t remember, somewhere in Mass. Hazy deep yellow color with a smallish but patient bubbly white head. Light lemony tart with a bit of faint bread and light spice on the nose. Lightly tart bready cereal maltiness with a salty undertone. Light lemon and spice. this is far from my favorite style, but I quite enjoyed the subtle complexities in this beer.
