COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Ardennes Forrest is a region in Belgium where some of the world’s best beers are produced. We used these beers as inspiration in brewing this Belgian session ale. Petit Ardennes is a light bodied blonde beer with notes of spice, herb, and tropical fruit. A very easy drinking beer with a low alcohol content that still has great flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Medium bodied golden/orange pour, clear with frothy white head. Full floral aroma with orange, grass. Wonderfully balanced flavors of wheat with citrus. Not too sharp/dry, not too sweet. I could drink this all day. The Lost Nations brews are really well done overall but this might just be my walk away favorite.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with some lacing, white head. Nose is lightly sweet, perfume, honey, mild candy, a little lemon. Flavor follows, sweet candy, lemon, a little peppercorn, some perfume. Clean finish.

(Rating #5506)

$5 flight purchased at the source. Shared with jamesewelch by the windows. Pours an effervescent yellow with a thin white ringed head resting atop. Tastes and smells of bubblegum, butterscotch, sawdust, Belgian yeast, blueberry leaves, and earl grey tea. Slightly fruity. Has a restrained earthiness, as well.

Taster at the source. Pours pale orange gold with a white head. Aroma is wheat, clove allspice. Taste follows nose... Thin wheat backbone, strong spice. Clove finish. Pretty decent considering the abv.

My Bottom Line:
Floral hop notes and trickling honey join in this crisp, überdrinkable Belgian-style Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty blond.
-Malts share cracking cereals and mild residual sugars.
-Mouthfeel is pleasantly dry (felt drier than their Saison even!).
-Hops also add green spiciness in the finish.

On tap at the brewery taproom.

If Hoegarden is your thing then youll love this. A spicy watery wit that doesnt provide anything very redeeming or interesting. Lots of spice and then watered down.

Half pour enjoyed with my dinner @ Prohibition Pig. Lightly hazy gold with light lace. Aroma is light citrus notes, coriander, and traces of yeast. Flavor starts with mild coriander, with some citrus zest joined yeast and a light hop presence in the finish. Solid backbone of wheat and grain. This brew has a clean dry finish and real easy to drink. Well done.
