A ruby colored ale that has a pronounced hop character. This smooth beer features a soft malt body that is complimented by American hops and dry hopped with whole flower hops just prior to kegging for a fresh hop finish.

Very floral and tropical hop scent wlifting off the glass. Deep cloud amber color. Taste starts off a bit watery followed by a sweet tropical hop flavor slight bite finishing off with a beautiful sweet malty flavor. Medium body with light carbonation that goes flat on the tougue quite quick. Love the flavor complexity of this brew. If the carbonation didnít fall flat so quick this would be a great beer.

On tap at Parker Pie. Pours a slightly unclear amber with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of fruity caramel and pine. Taste is of pine, cereals with a slight fruitiness. Moderately low bitterness. Medium body with a high carbonation. Not bad but lacking some polish to me.

On tap at Mr. Goodbar in Buffalo, NY. Brown/amber pour, nothing out of the ordinary looking, but very nice. Burst of hop flavor that was totally unexpected. Pretty well balanced but definitely hop-forward. Great example of the style.

Sampled @ pub A: Citrusy, light caramel, light orange, apple app: clear copper minimal white head. Med body with med bitter finish. O: ok Amber with potential could benefit a more complex malt backbone

On tap at Hinesburg public house. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt amber color with a bar pourís kind of slim white head that just dissipated immediately. The smell started off with some deep toasty caramel malts embedded with floral and slightly funky tones. The taste copies the aroma leading into the aftertaste with a thick caramel malt depth. Itís mostly dry on the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation hits fairly light. Overall, itís a good Amber ale with some other things going on to try and make it stand out. If anything, itís a good effort by Lost Nation.

Extremely unique beer here, and definitely worth a try. Not sure if its one Iíd have all the time, but Iíve never tried anything like it. Not even sure how to explain the flavor profile here. Neat.
