4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at beer dinner. Light golden pour with thin bubbly head. Aroma citrus, light yeast and florals. Flavor well balanced sweetness carried by spice and floral. Medium body. One of my favorite Saisons. Not too bitter, not overly floral. Clean finish that begs a return.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some pale and caramel malts, light floral and herbal notes, hints of light fruits, and some dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

Hazy gold, short lived head and little lace.

Light to medium body, mild flavors, avg length.
Bitter but well balanced by a higher than usual sweetness, fresh tasting, not quite tart.

Draft to taster at Lost Nation. Looks good; a hazy pineapple with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of saison yeast and related spices with a hint of fruit as well. Tastes like it smells, but fruitier, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. A bit of citrus as well. A solid example of the style.

Fair saison that is a bit thin and too sweet for what it is. Spivey clove, doughy, cereal, and some banana. Finishes with lingering fruity yeasty sweetness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a medium golden color with a finger of white foam. Lots of bubblegum and cotton candy going on here. Too sweet not enough attenuation. Some redeeming rustic grain lingers in the background but not enough to make this enjoyable.

A very nice saison, not the most unique, but smooth. Pours an average clear orange with a white head. Smells very citrusy, with some lemon. Taste is creamier then most, with lost of lemon, and some Belgian overtones. Ends herby. Had on tap at Sugarbush.
