Our golden lager is a crisp, clean, easy drinking beer that has a full, balanced hop finish. An extremely drinkable beer that is perfect for any occasion.

On tap. Pours a pale golden color with medium head. Notes of bread, light yeast, pepper, lemon, grain, and corn. Really easy going and drinkable lager bier. Medium bodied Pilsner.

I was anticipating something so great with this beer. I could not believe how mediocre this stuff actually was. Remarkably bland and light, with no real body. Very thin and bitter aftertaste with a total absence of any malt backbone. Boring, and uninspired. I have heard so much about this local brewer, and this was their first I have tried. I’m really not in a hurry, now, to try something else. I am simply baffled by the great ratings here.

Draft at Magnolia, 7/5/15
Clear golden color with small head and minimal lace. Mostly bready on the aroma and flavor with some spice and floral notes as well. Medium bodied, with a solid drinkability and a mid-dry finish. Not quite as clean as it could be.

This one started out nicely, but really started giving off a bit of butteriness on the finish. Not sure what happened here, but definitely had some good things going for it. Would like to try it again in case I got a funky keg pour.

Taster at the source pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of malt bread and grass. Taste is dry and light with noble pils lingering in the finish.

Pours a clear golden with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of slight creamed corn and pilsner malt. Taste is moderately bitter and grainy. Body is medium and carbonation high. Overall a fair pilsner but the nose is slightly problematic.

on tap at three penny taproom, VT. unclear bright yellow with a creamy white head, good retention and lacing. grainy and peppery crackery maltiness, lemon, strong grassy and herbal notes, clean yeast, lots of pepper. average carbonation, light body - oily; balanced yet assertive citrusy-grassy finish. very nice american interpretation.
