COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Some say the world will end in 2012, but we are just beginning our journey! Solid Gold in color with a creamy white head, this strong ale is deceptively mellow. Sweet malt flavors mingle with spicy flavors of the yeast and citrus character of the hops, producing a complex brew that is highly drinkable and refreshing!

From brewery draft. Poured a golden color with a foamy medium sized white head. Aroma is sweet fruit notes. Alcohol was masked relatively well for it being 9%. Bring on the new year!

Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and spice. Moderately sweet taste of Belgian yeast, spice and fruit. Medium body. Enjoyed this one a lot, better than Duvel.

Serving: Draft at Fireworks in Leesburg. It pours a nice gold color. The nose is slightly yeasty and sweet. The flavor seems to follow suit with the candy sweetness and a light bitterness being the dominant flavors. The alcohol comes out as the brew warms. Finishes sweet. It’s a little one dimensional with all of the sweetness.
