Bomber gifted to me from Hutch. Many thanks El Duder-ino! As one might infer, that I, like this beer, am not into the brevity thing. Just for you non-fans, that’s TWO Lebowski inferences and I’m just getting started. A strong aroma of malt upon malt emerges with purpose from the chilled bomber. Beautiful glowing golden amber. Lively abundant carbonation. Yeah this is a pretty sharp beer just visually. Malt focused. Body is robust and swirling with sweet tones on several levels. Some sweet fruit evenly balanced with cereal and malt. Thin horizontal rings of lacing are formed. I love the rhino shaped UPC. A solidly presented seasonal that is the best so far this year.

Tap at fireworks Clarendon courthouse - pours a clear orange in the dim bar light, with a white head. Aroma a bit malty. Has some weight and a bit of a bite of bitterness. Overall, middle of the road for the style.

Draft at fire works Arlington. Pours brown with a thin white head that leaves little lacing. Slight malt on the nose. A bit of caramel on the tongue but everything fades as it warms. Clean finish.

Sampled from a bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thin creamy head. Fair head retention. Aroma of sweet malts, herbal hops, caramel and earthy notes. The taste is caramel, toasted malts, bitter hops. Medium bodied.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120202]

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moedrate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear amber - white head. Toasted, caramel, nutty, light sweet malty, ok malty, hay, straw, grassy, soft body, light hoppy. Ok - but nothing special.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Quite clear. Small beige head. aroma of sweetness, fruits, light grass. Flavour of caramel, sweetness, grass. Medium bodied. Sweetish end.
