Drank on tap (20 oz) at the brewpub, on April 28, 2011. Hazy blonde cream, small head. Aroma of light malted barley, citrus notes. Citrus taste slightly malty, hints of herbs, a little bitter. Good thirst quenching beer for everyone!

(Rating #2904)

In short: A fruity and slightly tart well balanced golden ale with a little annoying fruity sourness. Good at first, so-so after a pint.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: The nose is mainly fruity (pineapples, grapefruits, bananas) with also some grassy hops notes. Taste is pretty much aligned with the nose, fruity (pineapples, grapefruits), light grapefruity acidity/tartness, dry grassy hops. Body far from slim considering this is a 4% brew. When the beer lost some points with me is the more I drank it the more I was getting an annoying white grapes flavour, by the end of my pint it was getting annoying. 1642, the year my city of residence Montreal was founded. A important year for. If it wasn’t for Montreal being founded I’d be living on a desert island with no beer store hunting squirrels for food and intimacy.

A hazy golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, faint grainy quality, refreshing. In mouth, a light, grainy malt, bready and pleasant. A nice summer quaffer. On tap at brewpub May 9 2009.
