SRM : 6.3 IBU : 30.6 4.5 % alc./vol.

Sample at Gainsbourg, amber with a fluffy head. Light esters, wheat, lemon zest, a little yeast, a bit weak. A bit weaker in flavor, faint peppery and ester notes, a bit if pungent lemon, not great but pleasant enough, decent bitterness, minerals. Meh.

En fût au Gainsbourg. Couleur jaune voilée, mousse blanche. Arôme de levure et pain. En bouche, levure saison, un peu d,agrume, un bin d’acidité. Rafraîchissante.

on tap at bateau de nuit, qc. hazy golden-red with a decent off-white head, some retention and lacing. lightly acidic, tart fruitiness, belgium spiciness, dusty yeast, dry herbal grassiness for a relatively short but nice spicy-citrusy finish. prickly carbonation, light body. more than decent saison.

Sample on tap at Bières et saveurs (Chambly). Pours hazy amber. Aroma and flavour: hops (slight), malt, citrus, yeast. No real bitterness. Too thin. Disapointing saison, not really on style...

Note: 6+/10

Pint at the pub. HaZy gold pour, white head. Aroma is classic saison, estery with lots of pepper, euro hops and grain. Taste is spicy, lots of grain, yeasty notes, bitter finish. Palate is nice and dry, well carbed. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at Vice et Versa in Montreal. Pours a hazy light yellow with puffy white head. Aroma is spicy, peppery, sour and slightly yeasty. Taste is thick and layered. Sour notes mix well with the spiciness. Some mild banana, clove here but sweeter and more saison. very good.

Tap at Vices et Versa. Very enjoyable slightly sour and spicy saison. The brett-like yeast produces an overall fruity (peaches and apricots) and Jolly Pumpkin-like sourness. Not as hoppy as others seem to decribe to me but it clearly seemed of an higher ABV then that 4,5% suggested here on this page. Quite unique in Québec, right now. I liked it quite a lot.

On tap at Vices et Versa (Montréal, QC). Hazy golden body with a thin white creamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with herbal and fruity hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries malty and coriander notes. Ends with a decent bitter/sour finish. Enjoyable Saison.

On tap at the brewpub, honey glod color, with a thick white head, yeasty, earthy spicy herbal, flower petal nose with some light zesty, citrusy, lemon peel esters with kind of dandelion leafiness, and some honeyed toasted, wheaty malt notes in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeastry, fruity ripe apple, spicy character of nutmeg, faint cinnamon, with some sweet toasted, biscuity, wheaty malt accents, with a nice flowery herbal hop citrusy upfront leaving some zesty, lemon, grapefruit peel undertones, leading towards a fruity, lingering floral hop grassy bittering finish.
