Huge, very dense collapsing yellowish head over orange-golden beer, visibly very carbonated. Very fruity nose, fresh muscat grapes, hops, sultana’s, and a hint of alcohol & caramel. Dry, but at the same time lot of caramel flavour; retronasal more hops and alcohol. Something fishy-sulphuric as well. Really very fizzy, overcarbonated feel on the tonguesides. Dry ending makes it just a tad empty. Medium bodied at least Disjointed characteristics. None of them bad, but not really coherent.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Yellow body with huge head. Citrusy nose. Grassy and sweet with caramel and citrus flavours. Malt taste quite strong. Smooth mouthfeel. Well done.

(Bottled) Hazy golden color with a quite large, foamy and firm, lacy head. Very honey-fruity aroma with lots of ginger and coriander, some herbs and grassy hops. Strongly fruity, pale-malty flavor with mild acidity. Some alcohol burn evident, but still smooth. Yeast makes the flavor even smoother, gets rid of the alcohol, and brings in some juniper character. Medium-bodied, a bit foamy, but smooth and pleasant palate. Not that complex, but a very pleasant brew - falling somewhere between Duvel and a typical Abbey Tripel.

Bottle, 8%. Nice, sweet, fruity aroma with some pepper. Hazy dark orange colour. Big, stable, creamy white head. The flavour is nice, a bit mild. Sweet and grainy with some spiciness. A very harmonic beer with a good level of bitterness to balance a slight sweetness. Hint of dust in the finish. High carbonation. Well-balanced.

Hazy golden with a disappearing head. Sweet hay, yeast and fruit aroma. Sweet and sticky flavor with herby tones and a sharp citrusy. Rancid and not very good.

From the bottle. Golden orange w/ creamy head. Hop aroma with belgian floral character. Taste is fairly bitter w/ more floral flavors. Disappointingly, it’s not complex at all. Body is medium w/ moderate cloying. Tastes and smells somewhat unfinished.

An unclear orange beer with a white head. The aorma is sweet with notes of coriander, while the flavor is quite perfumated and sweet, but also with notes of spices and caramel.

Hazy blond color. Quite nice (Belgian) spicy and hoppy aroma. The taste is very much balanced, between the malt and the hop, in the best Belgian tradition; quite dry ending. One more good brew from De Proef.
