Bottle courtesy of thirdeye11. Golden yellow pour. Sweet aroma, of lazy hops and perfume. Taste is sweet and spicy. Flavorful and spicy but sits well when finishes.

Dec 25, 2009 750, corked and baled. Pours a crystal clear dark gold with medium amber overtones. Towering, fluffy, eggy platinum blonde head, just a surging monster that keeps you coming back again and again to finally finish the pour. Nice herbal, slightly piney hop nose--surprisingly deep west coast touches rolling through here. Fair bit of fresh cut wood as well, along with plenty of yeasty spicel. Creamy medium body, very low in carb. Toffeeish mid-palate, bits of wood and brown bread. Kind of bland and ordinary flavor profile on the tongue, alas. Mild toffeeish finish. If this beer smelled stronger and tasted as good as it smells, people would really be talking about it.

Dec 6, 2009 Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. Pours a murky gold with thick, white fizzy head. Aroma of some grain, a little fruit, some faint funk. Flavor has a nice funkiness, a malty backbone, light citrus. Mouth feel is medium body with high, fizzy carbonation. Overall, very tatsy!

Nov 6, 2009 Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. Pours with a huge, foamy white head and a hazy golden body. Aroma is strongly hoppy with pine, followed by a grainyness and brown sugar. Taste is sugar, pine hops and grain. Belgian IPA? Light bubbles and low residual sugars.

Nov 5, 2009 A great "cheese" beer. Pairs very well with the right cheese and the right setting. Pours a dirty honey color. Flavor is a light honey and malt flavor with notes of clove, clover and some fruit. Finishes clean.
