| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2009 A great "cheese" beer. Pairs very well with the right cheese and the right setting. Pours a dirty honey color. Flavor is a light honey and malt flavor with notes of clove, clover and some fruit. Finishes clean. marcus (1860), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2009 This cloudy light amber beer poured with a thin off-white head and a very aromatic toffee nose. There is a great caramel malt flavor that starts sweet and turns pleasantly bitter at the finish. This beer was made to go with cheese, and it worked well with some Cowgirl Creamery Red Hawk and Mt. Tam. bhensonb (4265), Woodland, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours a hazy tea color with very little off-white head. Very soft and fruity aromas. Medium body with sparkling carbonation. Much flavor is lighter stone fruit - like peach or apricot. Arguably a hint of funk in the background. Astringent. Goes well with Cowgirl RedHawk and Mt Tam cheeses. Finishes mildy sweet. Very tasty. legion242 (1581), Richardson, Texas, USA
