(Draught) Pours an opaque black body with a creamy medium beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. Flavor of coffee, chocolate, light charred grain, and roasted malt.

Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 25/09/2009 Big coffee roast aroma. Black rich on the palate and hoppy with a little dryness in a crisp and smooth roast finish.

Aroma is a nice coffee, and its appearance is not far off. There are layers of chocolate, roasted malt, and coffee in the start and the finish. The coffee flavors linger nicely on the palate. I noticed quite a few people getting seconds of this offering at the Texas Craft Brewers Festival. A wonderful beer.

Dark brown color. Boot and veggie/cream flavor.... No espresso in the nose, just some ugly faint burnt malts and a lot of butter. An unpleasent experience.

Average looking stout. I liked the nice roasted coffee in the flavor, which lasts into the smooth finish. Lovejoy’s is all about that random gem in the rough. Along with the Doom Vanilla Stout, I’ll keep coming back for more.
