Hops: Galena and Cascade
Can you say hoppy? This beer is quite possibly the hoppiest beer we had had at Lovejoy's. Galena hops were used for bittering which gives this beer quite a smooth hop bitterness and good old cascades were used for aroma. Can't go wrong with cascade hops. This is an amber colored, full bodied beer that is sure to please anyone that enjoys a hoppy brew. Named after our happy our beer goddess Kelly Curtin. Do not leave the bar without having one of these. You won't regret it. Cheers!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Lovejoys. Poured a clear dark orange color with an off white head. Smelled of subdued melon and citrus fruits. Light to medium bodied with mild to moderate bitterness. I tasted caramel and some pine. Eh.

Orange color with a white head. Mild flavor with a barnyard musty flavor. I think this one needs more hops... it is simple and plain with just a light bitterness and only a small note of the cascade in the nose.
